TOUR Championship Prop Bets 2023: Scheffler Leads USA

Lap Up the Exotic Sportsbook Value

There are some excellent TOUR Championship prop bets 2023 available for the final FedEx Cup tournament of the season.

We expect the PGA leaderboard to be packed with the world’s best golfers, including Scottie Scheffler, who is our pick to be top American.

The TOUR Championship has only 30 players, so it’s an elite PGA Tour field.

Head Start for Scheffler

Scheffler has a great chance to be the top American, given that he already starts well ahead of the field.

Beginning the tournament with a two-shot lead over Viktor Hovland, the world number one is indisputably the frontrunner. The competitors immediately trailing him come from Denmark, Northern Ireland, and Spain, and the next best American is Lucas Glover at -5.

Starting five strokes ahead of the next American is a great head start, and bettors get -180 with TOUR Championship prop bets 2023.

Should Scheffler play well during the opening round, he could pull away and be awfully tough to catch on the weekend.

Another betting angle to consider is incorporating Scheffler into golf parlays. The sportsbook offers a “Big 3 vs the Field” option, where Scheffler, Hovland, and McIlroy are -300 to beat the rest of the field.

The likes of Jon Rahm are the dangers to this option, but we’re confident in Scheffler or McIlroy winning, so entertain that option.

Scheffler has been the most consistent golfer on the PGA Tour schedule, so he demands respect.

Fitzpatrick is the Best Bet

Our best TOUR Championship prop bets 2023 is Matt Fitzpatrick to be the top British golfer.

Fitzpatrick has a +130 chance to beat Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrrell Hatton, despite starting ahead of them in the TOUR Championship.

While we acknowledge Fleetwood’s skills, it’s worth noting that Fitzpatrick is not only coming off an impressive performance at the BMW Championship, but he’s also a major champion, which adds significant credibility.

Despite recent struggles with his driving accuracy, the 2022 U.S. Open champion has a history of quickly rectifying such issues, as he demonstrated last week.

“Yeah, it’s disappointing. It’s disappointing, there’s no doubt about it,” Fitzpatrick said. “There’s not really much to add to it. It’s disappointing. I wanted it to be better. I felt like U.S. Open was successful, Masters was successful, particularly U.S. Open with the way I drove the ball.”

Fitzpatrick enjoys the advantage of starting the competition with a one-shot lead over Fleetwood and a four-shot lead over Hatton.

We thought he would be around -140 to beat Fleetwood and Hatton, so we’re locking in the golf odds.

Back Kim Every Chance You Get

Tom Kim is a stud on the golf course, and he’s paying +350 to beat the rest of the world with TOUR Championship prop bets 2023.

The South Korean looked good when finishing the BMW Championship with an excellent round, so he’s full of confidence. He’s also maturing in front of our eyes, which could see him fly up the leaderboard at East Lake.

“Compared with last year, I’ve changed so much, whether it’s my mindset during a tournament or the way I approach the game,” Kim said. “I am constantly surrounded by great players, people who have won major titles. I’ve been getting advice from them, and I can’t help but keep maturing.”

He has some tough golfers to beat, such as Jason Day and favorite Sungjae Im, but in Kim we trust.
