Yes, Harden enjoyed some great years with the Rockets. But Houston was never able to get over the hump and win a title when he was there. The future doesn’t look great for Houston. That could be enough to keep Harden from making an encore performance with the Rockets.
Phoenix Suns
The Suns were always a longshot to land Harden. Phoenix was +600 before the NBA odds came down. If Phoenix is included when they odds go back up, the Suns could be even higher. Harden to Phoenix makes some sense. It would also give him a legitimate chance at a long postseason run. But with Phoenix picking up Bradley Beal, Harden seems less likely.
