NBA Daily Recap Odds: Favorites Rule Thursday Games Except
One NBA Underdog Contines To Stun Contenders

Oklahoma City Emerges as Lone Underdog Winner
Lightning may not strike twice but the Thunder does over and over. Oklahoma City Thunder, the largest underdog on Thursday, defeated Philadelphia. With the win, the Thunder improved to 21-10-0 against the spread (ATS) as an underdog and 26-16 ATS overall, the best mark in the league. This is OKC’s third win over a playoff contender in its last six games. It defeated Dallas on Sunday and Boston last Tuesday, per the NBA daily recap odds.

Portland Trail Blazers Damian Lillard scored 50 in a losing effort. His Blazers fell to the Cleveland Cavaliers, 119-113. Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors Pascal Siakam and Dallas’ Luka Doncic both scored 35 points each as they led their teams to victory. The Raptors won their third straight game as they won consecutive games over Charlotte.
The Dallas Mavericks needed two overtimes to dispatch the Lakers. The Los Angeles Lakers rallied from a 59-48 halftime deficit. LeBron James played 46 minutes and was one assist shy of a triple-double with 24 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists. Russell Westbrook scored 28 points off the bench per NBA stats.
Boston also extended its winning streak against the Brooklyn Nets to 10 straight. It defeated the undermanned Nets 109-98. Brooklyn, playing without Kevin Durant, failed to score 100 points for the first time since they played… Boston. Kyrie Irving scored a game-high 24 points.
Lastly, the Miami Heat improved to 7-3 ATS in its last 10 games with a win over the Milwaukee Bucks. The Heat opened as one-point favorites but got bet up to six points thanks to the absence of Bucks’ star Giannis Antetokounmpo. Miami nearly delivered on the NBA daily recap odds too, but A.J. Green hit a meaningless three-pointer before time expired — a bad beat for Heat backers.
Totals Remain Split in the Middle
As for the totals, three games went over and three went under. Most notable is the double OT game between Dallas and L.A., which still went under its total of 234. This is only the sixth time this season an overtime game went under the total. Otherwise, 86.7% of OT games have landed over the number (39-6-0).
Brooklyn’s game against Boston also went under and this further established the Nets as one of the best under teams. For the Nets, 58.5% of their games (17-24-0) have gone under including 57.9% (8-11-0) of their home games. As for Boston, 65% of their games as a visitor (7-13-1) go under.
On the flip side, the NBA daily recap odds saw the Thunder continue to be the team whose games go over the most. The high-scoring team has seen 26 of their 42 games go over (61.9%).
This includes their last six games, and sportsbooks have yet to adjust. The Thunder have also scored 120+ points in 16 of their games — seven of those occurring in their last 12 games.
