San Antonio Spurs Set for Attendance Record
The lowly San Antonio Spurs welcome the Golden State Warriors to the Alamodome as they return to their former home on a night where they’re set to break the NBA’s single-game attendance record.
Over 63,000 tickets have been sold for tonight’s showcase piece as the Warriors try to bounce back from a humbling loss to an undermanned Phoenix Suns last time out.
The visitors should be close to full strength for this one, with Jonathan Kuminga the only notable absence from their rotations. The Spurs also have a kind of issue, for the NBA injury report, Devin Vassell is the only starter out as he recovers from knee surgery.
Despite being the worst road team for NBA betting matchups the Warriors are still sitting as 8.0-point favorites here. While they did win both road meetings with the Spurs last NBA season they failed to cover the spread in either of those encounters. The full game total is set at 241.0 points in a game that is projected to be a back and forth shootout.
Los Angeles Clippers Ready to Make a Run
The LA Clippers will get a chance to avenge their humiliating loss in Denver last week when they welcome the Nuggets.
The Clippers snapped their six-game skid with an impressive win over the Dallas Mavericks last time out and have opened as 1.5-point favorites in this one despite being without Paul George.
A lot of that is down to the fact that Nikola Jokic has been listed as questionable. Jamal Murray and Bruce Brown are also tagged, but both are expected to feature. If Jokic is ruled out expect this number to move towards the Clippers, but if he’s in the market will likely tip its hand toward the red-hot Nuggets. Plenty of Home Dogs on Show
Home underdogs continue to be one of the most profitable ATS angles for bettors this season, owning a 125-91-7 (57.9%) record.
The Pacers opened as 3.0-point underdogs at home to the Atlanta Hawks as they prepare to be without All-Star candidate Tyrese Haliburton.
Myles Turner, Aaron Nesmith and Oshae Brissett are also questionable for the Indiana Pacers who now face an uphill battle to keep pace with the NBA playoff , specially in the East heading into the All-Star break. The Hawks certainly have issues of their own to manage, but they do get Trae Young back after he sat out the last game with an illness. Clint Capela remains out for the Hawks.
The Detroit Pistons will look to make it back-to-back home wins when they take on the New Orleans Pelicans. The road for this NBA team has gone 1-3 straight up and ATS since losing Zion Williamson, while Brandon Ingram also remains out despite being expected back this week.

The Washington Wizards are currently 4.0-point underdogs in the market for their home showdown with the New York Knicks.
Injuries have and will impact where this number goes in the lead up to tip-off, with the Wizards currently listing Kristaps Porzingis Monte Morris and Daniel Gafford as questionable. Bradley Beal also remains out.
Best of the Rest
The Chicago Bulls will try to return to winning ways when they host the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Thunder play their second of a road back-to-back after winning outright as 9.5-point underdogs in Philadelphia with the 76ers. Don’t be surprised to see OKC rest their NBA players in this spot, which in turn could push this number further towards Chicago despite the home side likely being without DeMar DeRozan once again.
The Minnesota Timberwolves will be the next in line to play the shorthanded Phoenix Suns, who could once again be without their entire starting five. The Timberwolves have opened as 3.0-point favorites, but also have injury concerns to manage with Anthony Edwards, Kyle Anderson and Taurean Prince all listed as questionable.
The Sacramento Kings will look for a repeat performance as they host the Houston Rockets for the second time in succession. After closing as 9.0-point favorites a couple nights ago the Kings have been pushed out to 10.5-point favorites in this one.
The Kings will be without Kevin Huerter, while Houston are going to be missing Kevin Porter Jr. Despite sailing over the closing number last time out, this game has opened at 236.0 points – a full point lower than where the market closed two nights ago.
