Washington Receiver Should Be Taken Early
With the NFL Draft just a week away, many bettors are pouring over the latest draft odds. It’s a pretty safe bet that the quarterback are going to taken with the first few selections. Wide receivers will likely be the next position in demand. There are some good ones, with Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabors and Rome Odunze. Harrison is likely to be the first receiver taken, while Nabers is taken over Odunze in most mock drafts, but Odunze has the size NFL teams love. It wouldn’t be a complete shock if he’s taken over Nabors. The rest of the Rome Odunze NFL Draft odds are the focus of this article.
Where is Odunze Selected?
There are NFL Draft odds for where Odunze is selected for every position in the top 10, except No. 1. The odds of going No. 2 or No. 3 are both +10000, as they should be. It simply isn’t going to happen. The top three picks are most likely going to be quarterbacks, with Caleb Williams, Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels. Things get a lot more interesting after that.
The Rome Odunze NFL draft odds are +3800 if you to bet he’s selected at No. 4, which again is likely too high. Harrison is most likely going to be the first receiver taken, although stranger things have happened. Nabors and Odunze both have better NCAAF stats than Harrison, but both played on better passing teams.
The odds of Odunze dropping to +1400 for being selected at No. 5, which is a possibility, although not likely. It really depends on how the team drafting at No. 5 view Nabers compared with Odunze. Right now, the Chargers are picking No. 5, but will listen to offers. There’s also the possibility of Minnesota trying to move up for a quarterback, which could complicate things.
NFL Draft Picks 6-10
The Rome Odunze NFL Draft odds take a serious drop for spot No. 6. Those odds are just +250 and barring a trade, it’s a possibility. Many mock drafts have the three quarterbacks going 1-3, followed by Harrison, Nabers and Odunze. It’s unlikely somebody won’t venture off the script, but you never know.
The odds of Odunze being taken at No. 7 are +550 and +500 at No. 8. There is a bit of value there, as somebody may want Joe Alt or Dallas Turner and prevent the three receivers from going in consecutive picks.
The NFL odds on Odunze going at No. 9 are just +150. It’s possible he falls here and the Bears will almost certainly grab him if he does. He and Williams should be familiar with each other from their days in the Pac-12 Conference. It also makes sense to give your new quarterback a solid weapon to grow with.
The odds of Odunze going at No. 10 are +700, which seems too low. He shouldn’t fall below No. 9, if that far.
Other Odunze Wagers
Another wager being offered on Odunze is where he is taken among wide receivers. The odds on him being the first wide receiver taken are +2500. Harrison is likely to be the first, but the real question is if Nabors are Odunze are the second receiver drafted. The odds on Odunze being the second receiver taken are +300. So Nabors is the favorite there, but it’s pretty close. Odunze is -450 to be the third wide receiver drafted.
His over/under is 8.5, with the under at -135. That means he’s taken at No. 8 or earlier.
The odds on Odunze being drafted in the top five spots are +1200, while he’s a solid -1600 favorite to be taken in the first 10 picks. That pretty much tells you the sportsbooks are expecting him to be taken 6-10, which sounds about right.
