The Florida Panthers followed up a nine-game winning streak that had them on the verge of catching the Boston Bruins atop the Atlantic Divisions by dropping four games in a row with two of the losses coming against teams with losing records. The Florida Panthers’ willingness to play the game on the edge spearheaded Florida’s surprising run to the Stanley Cup Finals.

Despite solid play in net, Nashville split those four games. Nashville outshot both the Vegas Golden Knights and Arizona Coyotes, only to suffer 4-1 and 3-2 losses. That could come into play when looking at the Panthers vs Predators preview.

Nashville has just one even-strength goal in each of its last three games. If not for a late empty-net tally, that streak would be at four going into this matchup.
