UFL Title Odds Trending for Surprising San Antonio
Birmingham Opens as Widest Favorite For UFL's Week 5 Odds

Believe it or not, we are already hitting the midpoint of the UFL season. Two-time defending USFL champion Birmingham has separated itself as the league’s best team. But don’t discount St. Louis. Behind former Alabama star quarterback A.J. McCarron, the Battlehawks are a force on offense.
The Battlehawks will look to continue their success Sunday (noon ET) when they visit the D.C. Defenders.
What can bettors expect? Read on as we break down the UFL Week 5 odds.
UFL Week 5 Matchups
Brahmas vs Renegades
Records: San Antonio Brahmas (3-1), Arlington Renegades (0-4)
Day/Time:
Location: Choctaw Stadium; Arlington, TX
Streaming: Fox
What could go wrong has gone wrong for Arlington, the UFL’s lone remaining winless team. The Renegades are 0-4 after falling 17-9 to Houston in Week 4.
Arlington started slowly last season only to rebound and win the XFL title. The likelihood of that happening again, however, appears slim to none.
The Renegades have been among the league’s worst defensive teams, allowing an average of 313.3 yards and 25 points. Now they must contend with upstart San Antonio. The Brahmas’ surprising 3-1 start has them climbing up the UFL championship odds board from +1400 (the longest of any team) to +600.
San Antonio is a 2.5-point road favorite over Arlington along with -135 on the moneyline. Arlington is +114 to win outright. Meanwhile, the projected total is 42.5.
Stallions vs Roughnecks
Records: Birmingham Stallion (4-0), Houston Roughnecks (1-3)
Day/Time:
Location: Rice Stadium, Houston, TX
Streaming: Fox
Birmingham has established itself as the UFL’s team to beat. The Stallions are 4-0, the league’s only remaining unbeaten, and have outscored opponents 100-59.
As such, the Stallions’ UFL title odds have shortened from +300 to +130. St. Louis owns the next-best odds at +200.
Former Nebraska star Adrian Martinez has been a standout at quarterback, with 448 passing yards and 164 rushing yards (9.6 yards per carry). But Matt Corral saw most of the action in Week 4 against D.C. (19-29, 240 yards, 1 TD).
Houston is coming off its first win, defeating Arlington 17-9 to move to 1-3. Reid Sinnett passed for 191 yards and a touchdown.
Unsurprisingly, Birmingham is shaping up to be the biggest favorite on the UFL Week 5 odds board. The Stallions are -7.5 on the spread and -395 on the moneyline, with Houston +310 to win outright. Meanwhile, the total is 42.5.
Battlehawks vs Defenders
Records: St. Louis Battlehawks (3-1), D.C. Defenders (2-2)
Day/Time:
Location: Audi Field, Washington, D.C.
Streaming: ESPN, ESPN+
The highest-scoring UFL team, St. Louis is 3-1 after thumping Memphis 32-17. A.J. McCarron now has a league-best eight touchdowns compared to only one interception through four games. The Battlehawks are averaging 26.5 points.
With +200 title odds, St. Louis is now the league’s biggest favorite outside of Birmingham.
D.C. (2-2) continues to be led by Jordan Ta’amu. The reigning XFL Offensive Player of the Year has thrown for 787 yards and six touchdowns.
The Defenders’ biggest issue has been their league-worst defense, which allows an average of 333.0 yards per game.
St. Louis is a 3.5-point road favorite and -180 on the moneyline, with D.C. +150 to pull off the upset. The Over/Under is 47, easily the highest projected total on the board.
Panthers vs Showboats
Records: Michigan Panthers (2-2) vs Memphis Showboats (1-3)
Day/Time:
Location: Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium; Memphis, TN
Streaming: Fox
Michigan has alternated wins and losses on the 2024 UFL schedule, starting 2-2. The Panthers rank third in the league in rushing (98.5 yards/game), but their inability to protect quarterback E.J. Perry remains a glaring issue. Perry has already been sacked 13 times.
Memphis (1-3), however, is second-to-last defensively, allowing an average of 315.8 yards per game. The Showboats were gouged for 355 yards in their Week 4 loss to St. Louis.
Despite that, Memphis is a one-point favorite over Michigan on the UFL Week 5 odds board, along with -118 line on the moneyline. Michigan is -102 to win outright. Meanwhile, the over/under is 40.5.
