The marquee game of Week 6 for most NFL fans will be the rematch of the 2021 AFC Divisional Round: Buffalo Bills vs Kansas City Chiefs. Last season’s playoff bout was one of the games of the year, and Buffalo will be desperate to get revenge. Do the NFL betting odds make them favorites? Or will KC triumph at Arrowhead?

The Buffalo Bills are many people’s Super Bowl favorites for a good reason. They were very strong last season, and they were painfully unlucky that an inspired Josh Allen playoff run was derailed by Patrick Mahomes in overtime. They’ve since added running back James Cook and Kaiir Elam in the draft, as well as Von Miller in free agency, so they should be even better than in 2021. They’ll be targeting a 1st round playoff bye, so they will need to win games like the one this week against Kansas City.

The trade of Tyreek Hill has arguably put the Chiefs on the back foot in the off-season, and they will need to develop new chemistry on the offensive side of the ball in the early weeks of the season. Coach Andy Reid is very capable of designing a scheme to do this, however, so he may get creative in designing those splash plays that Hill delivered so regularly in years past. No team has won more games over the last 4 seasons, so KC has the pedigree to make good on the high expectations that their fans have this season.

The Bills have won 27 games to the Chiefs’ 24 in head-to-head matchups, but the 42-36 playoff loss last season is the one that stings most. KC also won in the AFC championship game the year before (38-24), but lost in the regular, last season (38-20). If you are betting on NFL games, how should you play it?
