F1 Is Coming in Hot to Las Vegas
An F1 Las Vegas 2023 Race Weekend Like No Other

The Countdown Has Begun!
Ahhh, the bright lights of Las Vegas—primarily known as the gambling headquarters of planet Earth but also respected for its shopping, fine dining, entertainment, nightlife, and of course, strippers.
Nicknamed ‘Sin City’ because of its notoriety around money crimes, prostitution, and violence, it’s a destination that seems to have it all, right? What more could we ask for? Oh yeah, a racetrack circling the Vegas Strip, duh!
Amending Past Failures
Of course, the high-octane vehicles of Formula One needed to be ushered in to take this already fun-filled location to new heights. On Sunday, November 19, the Las Vegas Street Circuit will make its F1 Las Vegas 2023 debut as the sport’s ever-growing popularity continues its hysteria in North America—God Bless Netflix.

The days of F1 failing in front of an American audience are long gone, and it’s returning to Vegas for the first time since 1982!
It’s been more than forty years since any F1 news was relevant in Sin City, and much has changed, including the fact that this race won’t be held in a f*cking casino parking lot like the last one. What’s more, certain other occurrences in ‘82 won’t ever be replicated either, such as Ozzie Osbourne eating the head of a bat, the Boston Celtics going on an 18-game win streak, and Argentina ever thinking they could out-fight the British in a war (Falklands). However, Nevada can and will rectify the failed Grand Prix they hosted in the early eighties; that’s a guarantee!
Big Lights and Lewis Hamilton
In true Vegas fashion, they’ve slapped a ginormous LED screen slap bang in the middle of the course, and its spherical structure is the largest of its kind. If the producers put an image of Shakira up mid-race, Lewis Hamilton may have a chance of winning for once.
Las Vegas has a new icon ⭐ @spherevegas is both the largest spherical structure and programmable LED screen in the world, and will serve as a canvas for captivating displays during race weekend for guests in the T-Mobile Zone at Sphere!

On the topic of Hamilton and F1 rumors, he’s among the many drivers excited for the F1 Las Vegas 2023 to return.
“I think there’s something else about Vegas,” Hamilton said. Maybe because it’s closer to Shakira?
“I think there’s an unbelievable amount of energy in one little space, so the weekend when we have the race here… I don’t even know how we’re going to be moving! I would imagine it will be the busiest time in Vegas—the race will be incredible.” He added.
And for his sake, I hope Shakira-Shakira has secured her tickets, or else the seven-time F1 Champ from the UK will likely get smoked by Max Verstappen.

It’s More Than a Race
This isn’t just a race on the F1 schedule; no, no! This is Vegas, baby, and it will evolve into a massively popular marquee celebration as THE premier event on the Formula 1 race calendar, alongside Monaco. Every damn hotel, club, rooftop bar, and establishment on the strip will be rammed during the Vegas GP weekend, and the atmosphere will be unlike no other.
Envision the cars blasting through the Vegas Strip at 220 MPH as the Bellagio fountains spray water in the background. And if that doesn’t give you goosebumps, you’ve probably attended the Barbie Movie on multiple occasions and have no need to be here, shoo.
I’m stoked, America’s stoked, and you should be too. ‘What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas’ is no longer true, as the entire world will be tuning in for this F1 spectacle.
