They first made the NCAA Tournament in 1975 when making the Sweet Sixteen before losing narrowly to UCLA 67-64. It followed a Round of 32 win against Utah State to secure their first tournament win.
They would make the tournament five more times before winning their second game against Nevada with an 87-79 performance in 2006 before losing to the well-fancied Boston College.
