Toledo Rockets – NCAAF History
The Toledo Rockets are a Division 1 FBS football team based in Toledo, Ohio. Founded in 1917, Toledo has an overall record of 520–428–24. After moderate success in the early years of the program, the Toledo Rockets stats took off in the late 1960s, winning three MAC Championships, running off a 35-game winning streak from 1969-1971, and finishing in the final AP Poll of the season in three straight years.
The Toledo Rockets program has flourished over the years, winning at least one conference championship in each of the last six decades. They appeared in 19 bowl games, with an overall record of 10-9 and their last bowl victory was in 2015, over Temple in the Boca Raton Bowl.
