Tottenham Top Table

London Derby on Monday

Tottenham’s play under Ange Postecoglou has been excellent. Spurs haven’t yet lost a Premier League game and are one of just two unbeaten teams remaining. Coming out of the international break, the league leaders will host Fulham in a London Derby. Spurs will be looking for revenge as Fulham defeated them in penalties in the EFL Cup back in August. In our Tottenham vs Fulham odds, we’ll check out the odds and team news from this EPL match.

TOT Tottenham vs Fulham FUL

Location: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London, England
Date & Time: Monday, October 27th, 3:00 p.m. ET

Head-to-Head:

Tottenham have gotten the better of Fulham in recent Premier League meetings. On last season’s EPL schedule, Tottenham completed the double over Fulham and are unbeaten in the last eight Premier League matchups. However, Harry Kane, who’s now with Bayern Munich, scored the winner in both fixtures.

In the second round of this season’s EFL Cup, Fulham knocked out Spurs 5-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw. Still, Tottenham are unbeaten in 90 minutes in the last 10 meetings, in all competitions.

Spurs’ Maddison Leads League in Assists

Tottenham went down to ten men in the first half of their match at Luton Town as Yves Bissouma got sent off. Still, Spurs managed to score first as defender Micky van de Ven scored his first goal for the club. James Maddison did some excellent work to beat a Luton Town defender near the touchline and put in a cross. Playing with a man down for the entirety of the second half, the Spurs defense and keeper Guglielmo Vicario had a lot of work to do.

Even so, they managed to keep a clean sheet and climb to first in the EPL rankings. Spurs haven’t lost so far in the Premier League and have undergone a transformation under Ange Postecoglou. Heung Min-son has scored six goals so far and James Maddison is a joint-league leader with five assists. With no European football this season, it’s certainly possible that they’re able to stay in the title race for a while. Still, they only show +1100 odds to win their first-ever EPL trophy.

For Monday’s match, the Tottenham vs Fulham odds price Spurs as -200 favorites and are expected to remain unbeaten. They’ll have to do without Yves Bissouma for this one and a handful of other players. While Bissouma is suspended, Manor Solomon, Brennan Johnson, Ryan Sessegnon, Rodrigo Bentancur and Ivan Perisic are out injured.

Inconsistent Fulham a Risky Pick

Just before the international break, Fulham managed to pick up their third win of the season. The Cottagers hosted Sheffield United and Fulham’s Bobby Decordova-Reid opened up the scoring from a perfectly placed Andreas Pereira pass in the second half.

Then, in the 68th minute, Antonee Robinson scored an unfortunate own goal to level the score. Sheffield United’s keeper Wes Foderingham was also credited with an own goal as the ball hit the crossbar and went in off his back from a Tom Cairney long-range strike.

Willian doubled Fulham’s lead and it was a well-deserved result for the hosts. Fulham have been an inconsistent pick for soccer betting this EPL season, with a 3-2-3 record. They’re currently in 12th place in the EPL table and have averaged just one goal per game so far. Fulham have been solid on the road so far, with just one loss in four away games.

Only Decordova-Reid has scored more than one goal for Fulham this season and no Fulham player has registered two or more assists. Coach Marco Silva has most of his players available for selection on Monday. Kenny Tete is a doubt, while Adama Traore and Tosin Adarabioyo figure to be out of the squad.

Match Analysis & Odds

In the Premier League era, Fulham have managed just two wins on the road at Tottenham. Wins have been rare for the Cottagers in this fixture no matter if it’s in West or North London. Here, the Tottenham vs Fulham odds list hosts Spurs as -200 favorites, corresponding to an implied 66.7 percent chance of victory. Ange Postecoglou’s side have won five of their last six EPL games heading into this one.

Meanwhile, Fulham are +475 underdogs and bettors can take a draw at +350 odds. It would be surprising if Tottenham aren’t able to extend their unbeaten start to the season here. Note that all of Tottenham’s last four games have been decided by just one goal or finished in draws. So, it’s not surprising that Fulham +1, +1.5 comes in at -125 odds, while Tottenham -1, -1.5 sits at +105.

This wouldn’t be the first London Derby that Fulham manage a road result in this season. Back in August, a ten-man Cottagers side drew 2-2 at Arsenal. Regardless, goals are expected in this one and Tottenham have scored at least twice in each of their home games this soccer season. Over three goals are priced at -130 odds for Monday’s match.
