Rainbow Six will return to the 2023 Gamers8 festival for a second year after we saw Team BDS claim the event last year, defeating Team Falcons in the grand final. The all-French team will return to Saudi Arabia to defend their crown; however, 2023 Six Invitational winners G2 Esports and BLAST Copenhagen Major champions w7m Esports expect to challenge them for the title.
The 2023 Gamers8 event doesn’t hold any weight or carry any Global Points for any competing Rainbow Six esports teams. However, bragging rights and winning a massive $2 million event will be in complete focus for these eight teams. Various teams from Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and the Middle East have been invited to the 2023 Gamers8 tournament.

2023 Gamers8 Teams
The 2023 Gamers8 features eight of the best Rainbow Six teams worldwide! Each of these teams has proven their worth through various tournaments and pedigree.
While G2 Esports, w7m esports, Oxygen Esports, and Team Falcons were invited to compete in Gamers8, M80, Team BDS, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and CYCLOPS athlete gaming qualified after winning their region’s Gamers Without Borders.

Tournament Schedule and Format
The tournament is expected to begin on July 13th and end on July 16th. Here is the 2023 Gamers8’s schedule:
Group Stage: July 13th to July 14th
Semifinals: July 15th
Grand Final: July 16th
In the group stage, the teams will be put in a double-elimination bracket. Meanwhile, the best four rosters will move to a single-elimination playoff. All games will be BO3s except for the grand final, which will be a BO5 game.
Top Teams to Watch
As we prepare for the 2023 Gamers8 tournament, all eyes will be on the previous winners, Team BDS, and European powerhouse, G2 Esports. However, those are not the top two teams to watch when it comes to esports betting. Those two are Ninjas in Pajamas and Team Falcons.
Ninjas in Pajamas
Ninjas in Pajamas were one of the teams invited to the 2023 Gamers8 tournament. They are easily the second-best if not the best, team coming out of Brazil and are always making it to the semifinals of every esports tournament they play. They have some flaws when playing on their back heels, but they are a strong contender for the top spot at the Gamers8.
Team Falcons
The hometown team! Team Falcons are the only Saudi team to play at the 2033 Gamers8 event. The tournament is held in Saudi Arabia, and Team Falcon made it to the Grand Final last year. Their team has relatively the same, and we can expect similar results. The Falcons will want to impress as the hometown team since their last performance at the Copenhagen Major was disappointing.
