Knicks Nicked By Injuries – Who’s Out?
The Knicks could be without six of their seven best players when they host Dallas this Thursday. Star forward Julius Randle is already sidelined with an injury, as is center Mitchell Robinson. Star guard Jalen Brunson, swingman Josh Hart, and forward OG Anunoby are potentially joining them. Guard Quentin Grimes and center Jericho Sims are also on the “IL.”
“Playing with him for so long and knowing him — I said, ‘You good?’ And he said, ‘I’m good,’ and I didn’t ask anything after that,” guard Donte DiVincenzo said after Brunson hurt himself during in the game versus Memphis. “I don’t worry about Jalen at all. He’s one of the toughest guys in the league. I’m not worried.”
Be that as it may, the Knicks will not risk their long-term future to get a ‘W’ against Brunson’s old team. He was just named as a reserve for the NBA All-Star Game and is having a stellar season with averages of 27.2 points and 6.5 assists. The Knicks are just 8-8 without him since 2022-23.
