The good news for Marshall is that the Notre Dame defense looks susceptible against the run in the season opener as Ohio State averaged nearly five yards per carrying.

Tight ends Mitchell Evans (foot) and Eli Raridon (knee) are out indefinitely. Receiver Avert Davis (knee) and RB Jadarian Price (Achilles) are out for the season.
