He threw head coach Matt Eberflus under the bus by saying that he thinks the Bears are better than Green Bay. That remains to be seen but perhaps that vote of confidence was meant to be kept in-house. The NFL point spread -10, shows that bookmakers don’t agree with Eberflus or Gipson.
The public has pushed this number up from 9.5 with 73% of the money coming in on the Pack. On the other side, QB Aaron Rodgers has publicly said that he owns the Bears, which is a fact. Dating back to Rodgers’ first full season as a Packer starter in 2008, the 10-time Pro-Bowler is 21-7 against Chicago, handing bettors 1313 units.
In that span, Green Bay is 18-6 (+1127 units) as a favorite and 10-4 (+559 units) as a home favorite. Even when you factor in data when Green Bay is a favorite of nine points or more, the Packers are still sending bettors home a winner with 15 covers in their last 19 games (+1051 units).

It’s been three seasons since Rodgers has thrown a pick against Chicago.
