Ravens vs Jaguars Highlights

Baltimore Ravens vs Jacksonville Jaguars in this Week 12 matchup sees two teams hoping to make improvements and get back to the top of the AFC. Many will have the side from Maryland as the clear favorite after the Jags’ struggles in recent years, but has a change in coaching personnel turned the tide for the side from Duval, Florida?

The Baltimore Ravens make a familiar trip to face the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 12. Until 2001, these two played twice a year as part of the AFC Central division, so there is a shared history that both sides will be aware of. The Ravens are famous for their defensive stoutness, with NFL legends like Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, and Terrell Suggs providing a strong backbone for years. Those three may be gone, but they still maintain a core tradition of strength and toughness that goes into the mantra ‘Play like a Raven.’

The Jacksonville Jaguars will be hoping that the removal of Urban Meyer will feel long in the distant past by this point, and the Jags’ new Head Coach Doug Pederson has finally got them moving in the right direction. The Super Bowl-winning leader should be a great boon to second-year quarterback Trevor Lawrence, whose potential knows no bounds. They also added Christian Kirk on a big-money WR contract. They will hope that in combination with fellow wideout Marvin Jones, he can help them improve on the 27th-ranked offense from a year ago.

Somewhat surprisingly, the Jags lead the all-time series 12-10, dominating their earlier divisional rivalry. The Ravens won the last time out, though, romping to a comfortable 40-14 win in 2020. For those betting on NFL games in Week 12, look to the Ravens to deliver a big win and rack up some points, even on the road. They should cover the spread and run out winners by the end of the 60.
