The Arizona Wildcats Lead College Football’s Best Regular Season Win Totals

Looking Back At The Best 2023 College Football Win Totals Odds

Before the season began, there were 130 different college football win totals on the board.

Every single FBS team had odds with a total amount of wins expected this season.

Some seasons went south quickly, while other teams had an amazing run this year.

Below, we’ll break down the best regular season 2023 College Football win totals odds.

Wildcats logo Arizona Wildcats (5 Wins +100/-120)

The Under 5 wins had a higher probability of hitting for Arizona this year.

However, the Wildcats finished the regular season with five straight wins and will now have an opportunity to earn ten wins in a bowl game.

The Wildcats were so dominant toward the end of the season that Arizona could even potentially earn a New Year’s Six Bowl game.

The Wildcats ultimately found their offense when they gave freshman quarterback Noah Fifita the keys to the offense at quarterback.

Fifita added 23 passing touchdowns and five interceptions with 2,515 yards passing despite only starting in eight games. His QBR was 85.5 to close out the regular season, which was 5th best in the nation.

The Wildcats can double their projected 2023 College Football win totals odds from before the season.

Cardinals logo Louisville Cardinals (8 Wins -105/-115)

Louisville was another team with a higher probability of going Under the win total. However, the Cardinals added eight wins in early November and finished the regular season with ten wins.

The ten wins came before their rivalry loss to Kentucky to close out the regular season.

Louisville gave Over bettors a no-sweat winner in Jeff Brohm’s first season as head coach. The Cardinals were a bit inconsistent this year. But somehow, they found a way to get ahead in most games this season.

They’re now playing for an ACC Championship against a Florida State offense that no longer has Jordan Travis.

Louisville can literally win the ACC this season. Yet, they were projected to go Under eight wins this season. The Cardinals’ season proves that they had one of the best 2023 College Football win totals odds.

Wildcats logo Northwestern Wildcats (3 Wins +100/-120)

David Braun is a legend at Northwestern. He took a one-win program last year and completed 360 with this team.

Northwestern finished the regular season 7-5 and will play in a bowl game in the same season where former head coach Pat Fitzgerald was fired and let go for hazing in the program.

Braun did so well as the interim head coach that he was given the head coaching position for good.

The Wildcats won five of their last seven games, including five Big Ten wins. Northwestern wasn’t supposed to earn any Big Ten wins this year.

Scarlet Knights logo Rutgers Scarlet Knights (4.5 Wins +100/-120)

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights started their season beating that same Northwestern team we just discussed. Rutgers began the season 4-1, needing only one more win in its next seven games.

At 4-2, Rutgers knocked off Michigan State and Indiana and earned six wins and a bowl appearance before November.

The Scarlet Knights didn’t have much of a passing game. Gavin Wimsett’s completion percentage was among the worst at the FBS level. However, Rutgers had the leading rusher in the Big Ten with Kyle Monangai.

Most analysts expected Samuel Brown IV to be the lead back. But Brown was coming off an injury, which allowed Monangai to get his carries early. He never looked back. Monangai added 1,099 yards on 217 carries. He also scored seven touchdowns and rushed for over five yards in a tough Big Ten conference.

While the Scarlet Knights might’ve run out of gas late in the season, this bet was a no-sweat winner as it was hit back in October. Therefore, the Scarlet Knights had some of the best 2023 College Football win totals odds.

Cowboys logo Oklahoma State Cowboys (6.5 Wins +105/-125)

Oklahoma State wasn’t supposed to be good this year.

The Cowboys lost to South Alabama, 33-7, in the third week of the season at home in a buy-game. They also escaped Arizona State 27-15 earlier in the season. Looking back, that was a weak performance from the Cowboys.

But at 2-2, Oklahoma State started to really thrive. The Cowboys earned wins against Kansas State, Kansas, West Virginia, Cincinnati, Oklahoma, and BYU, winning seven of their last eight games.

That was enough to earn a Big 12 Championship appearance against Texas.

The Cowboys have nine wins this season and have a chance to earn 11 with a Big 12 Championship and Bowl game still on the schedule.

Oklahoma State only needed seven wins for their win total.

They have Ollie Gordon II to thank. Gordon II was one of the best rushers in college football this season. He ran 245 times for 1,580 yards. He also scored 20 touchdowns and averaged 6.4 yards per carry.

Gordon won’t win the Heisman, but there might be a couple of awards coming his way, specifically at the running back position.
