Our underdog teaser parlay did not quite work out last week. So we pivot to backing the best favorites this week. In what looks to be a highly competitive week, we can trust these elite outfits to win and cover their new spreads. The best NFL teaser bets Week 10 focus on contenders who have considerable edges. A 3.5-point teaser will ensure their victory.
San Francisco 49ers vs Jacksonville Jaguars

San Francisco has lost three straight games but visit Jacksonville, which has won five straight, with a field goal to cover. So a 3.5-point teaser essentially makes this a moneyline pick, which San Fran should do. Kyle Shanahan with an extra week to plan is just 3-4 against the spread (ATS). But it gives his team’s injury report in NFL to clear up.
Deebo Samuel, the team’s do-it-all receiver, returns. Trent Williams, a crucial tackle on the offensive line, gets healthier. And Brock Purdy, the embattled quarterback, will be revitalized. Chase Young should also bolster the team’s pass rush. San Francisco will look like the team that went 5-0 and had a point differential of +99, hence why they’re one of the best NFL teaser bets Week 10.
And we’re not making light of the Jaguars. But this team’s offense is in the bottom quarter of the NFL in third-down conversion rate (35.5%) and red zone percentage (47.6%). Its defense also gives up a ton of yards through the air (over 263). This is a prime spot for Purdy and Co. to get back to form. Tease 49ers from -3 to +0.5
Detroit Lions vs Los Angeles Chargers

Lions quarterback Jared Goff returns to his old stomping grounds ready to light up the Chargers. This is almost a home game for Detroit as SoFi Stadium will be filled with Lions fans. Playing in a warm domed stadium against a Chargers defense that is 30th in total yardage (375.8) puts Detroit in a prime position to score plenty.
You’d think you can say the same for the Chargers. But Justin Herbert, once one of the favorites for NFL MVP, has struggled to throw the rock. Detroit has an edge in defense so we can see Goff outplaying Herbert. Teasing Detroit down to +0.5 means the Lions only have to win to make this one of the best NFL teaser bets for Week 10. New York Giants vs Dallas Cowboys

We’re not making any earth-shattering revelations by proclaiming the Cowboys as the NFL best bets this week. They are the largest favorites and now have a whopping line. It’s for good reason: The Cowboys destroyed the Giants 40-0 in their own stadium in Week 1. Now, the game shifts to Dallas where it has won 11 straight home games and is 8-2 ATS as a favorite since 2022.
More notably, the Cowboys are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against the Giants and face the backup, Tommy DeVito. The Giants are atrocious on offense, ranking last in both scoring (11.2 points per game) and total yardage (268.9). This is a blowout in the making. But to minimize any chances of a bad beat, this teaser cuts the spread to under two touchdowns. Tease Cowboys from -17 to -13.5.
