Usher’s Super Bowl Props: OMG, Here We Go With These Props Again

In case you still haven’t heard, Usher is this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show performer. And as per tradition, the 2024 SB Halftime Show props let both fans and bettors bet on everything from his wardrobe to guest appearances to Taylor Swift, of course. Yeah! There are more than enough props here to keep enthusiasts occupied. But are any worth the time or coin?

How Will Usher’s Halftime Show Play Out?

Super Bowl performers perform nine songs on average during the halftime show. Rihanna went “Beast Mode” and performed 13 songs in 13 minutes last year as she easily cashed the ‘over’. But things look to go back to the “norm” here. Usher’s number of songs prop is set at 9.5 with bettors squarely on the ‘under’ at -150.

But if we look at the total songs performed in general, it’s set at 8.5 and bettors have bet that to go over at -130. Given how these Super Bowl odds are trending, most are expecting exactly nine songs to be performed at halftime. And which songs will these be?

Heavy action has come in on the song, “My Way” as it is now at -800 to be the first song (or part of the song) the two-time Grammy Award winner leads off with. “OMG” and “Yeah!” have the next-shortest odds at +125 and +150, respectively.

The action on “My Way” is counterintuitive with recent trends as the last two “first song” props to win were not betting favorites. Rihanna led off with “B*tch Better Have My Money” last year, which was +800 while Snoop Dogg started Super Bowl LVI with “The Next Episode” at +350.

“My Way” was slightly in the lead at even odds (+100) so bettors may have gotten an inside scoop or it’s Usher looking to make some lunch money on himself.

An All-Star Collab: Usher Will Feature Some Friends

Unlike past Super Bowls (like Super Bowl 50), we are expecting Usher to be joined by a few All-Star collaborators. The 2024 SB Halftime Show props indicate over 2.5 collaborations (-165) to take place with Lil Jon (-500) and Ludacris (-250) joining for “Yeah!” while Alicia Keys (-350) also making an appearance for “My Boo”. “Yeah!” is also the heavy favorite to be the last song performed at -500 over “DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love” at +125.

Pitbull collaborated with Usher for “DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love”. But he’s not expected to appear on stage with odds at +350. Neither is Will.I.Am, who produced and performed “OMG” with Usher, with similar lines.

However, Justin Bieber has taken some money at +250. He may just make a surprise appearance as several performers like 50 Cent did two Super Bowls ago. Bieber and Usher did perform “Somebody to Love” together so we may be in store for a surprise or two.

But sorry, “Swifties”. Taylor Swift is not expected to perform nor is Usher going to do a rendition of one of her songs (-1000).

Usher’s Drip: What Will He Wear?

If you’re looking to get the best bang for your 2024 SB Halftime Show props , rolling on the fashion props might be the way to do it. But good luck on that unless you’re psychic or are privy to whoever is organizing the halftime show. The hard old-fashioned way to figure this out is by researching how Usher likes to dress or perform. So far here are the props:

“Ball Chain” is favored for a reason as some of Usher’s most iconic photos have it. But the 45-year-old singer has also worn a “Rope Chain” in a few performances or just casually. This may be as random as predicting NFL scores . Though because it’s the Super Bowl, the more fashionable “Ball Chain” is favored.

This one is fairly straightforward. Usher almost always wears a black shirt or white shirt in whatever he does. Bettors may even wager on both and hope he comes in wearing white to net a profit. But it’s hard to see him wearing anything but either.
