Last season, though, Atalanta did complete the league double over Roma. Atalanta managed a 1-0 road win at the Stadio Olimpico and a 3-1 victory at home. Roma Unbeaten at Home Since September
Roma’s first match of 2024 finished in a 2-1 comeback win over Cremonese in the Coppa Italia round of 16 on Wednesday. Frank Tsadjout scored for the visitors in the first half and the Giallorossi left things for late on. They’ve won four of their last five matches, in all competitions.
Just before the New Year, La Dea took down Lecce 1-0 in Serie A. Ademola Lookman scored Atalanta’s goal in the match and the forward is away on international duty with Nigeria now. That could open up a few more opportunities for De Ketelaere. Lookman is tied for fifth in the Serie A player stats, though, with seven goals and will be tough to replace.
