One more friggin sleep and the wait is over. UFC 298 is upon us, and I don’t know about you, but I’m hyped up for this one like it’s the last MMA event on earth!
Live from the sold-out Honda Center in Anaheim, California, Dana White and company are bringing the violence to the Golden State, and although it isn’t directly in Hollywood, the main card of UFC 298 will be a movie!

UFC 298 Featherweight Championship Bout
To no surprise, the main event is what most of the MMA community eagerly anticipates. Undefeated at 145 pounds, Alexander “The Great” Volkanovski will make his sixth title defense versus the highly touted, uber-confident, undefeated Georgian and Spanish representative Ilia Topuria.
I’ve lost sleep questioning myself on who has the skills to walk out with the gold dripped around their waist, and no matter how much UFC news and UFC rumors bombard my X timeline, nothing has yet been able to sway me to pick a side.
Of all the UFC fights scheduled for 298, nothing excites me like Volk-Topuria; was Makhachev the Aussie’s kryptonite? Is Topuria the next big thing at 145 pounds? Will one of these savages win via KO/TKO or submission?
There are so many questions and countless variables to ponder, but all will be answered in 24 hours!

If the main event doesn’t get the blood pumping in your veins, how about the former middleweight champion Rob Whitakers, aka ‘The Reaper’, aka ‘Bobby Knuckles’, versus the Brazilian brute who sips the secret juice like its water (I think he’s sipping water).
Two excellent strikers with a significant lack of interest in grappling, a 15-minute kickboxing war, anybody? Yes, please! The odds suggest this one’s going the distance, but should one of these men be zZzZ by the night’s end, don’t be surprised!

Before the main and co-main, the sh*t-talking Irishman who’d love to be Conor McGregor but is a cuck to Layla Machado, Ian Machado Garry, will square up with ‘Handz of Steel,’ Geoff Neal.
I don’t enjoy poking fun at Garry; he’d knock me on my arse, after all. However, it’s just something people do nowadays. Right?
With that said, he’s a UFC 298 betting favorite for a reason, and whether you like it or not, the man throws combinations like he’s Picasso in the octagon.
