MLS Week 24 Odds: Team Standings

The quality of play in MLS keeps getting better and better! Week 23 brought us some fantastic matches, like LA Galaxy winning El Traffico on the Fourth of July, the Sounders winning their Cascadia Cup clash, and so many more. Will MLS week 24 give us that and more?

Here is everything you need to know heading into MLS Week 24.

Current MLS Soccer Standings

St. Louis CITY SC stayed at the top of the table in the West with another win, which takes them second in the Supporter Shield race. The Sounders are finding some form with a second win in a row to keep them in second place. The middle of the pack is heating up, with Salt Lake and Austin finding a resurgence in form as well.

Every place below FC Cincinnati in the East keeps changing week by week! This is what makes MLS such an exciting league to watch. Nashville keeps winning, and the Columbus Crew scrape out a result to make the top four.

Top Five Goals and Assists Going into MLS Week 24

We have some movement in the Golden Boot race heading into MLS Week 24! Denis Bouanga keeps inching closer and closer to Mukhtar’s 13. The rest of the top five generally stayed the same, except three players are knocking on the door with ten goals as well!

In the assist category, one new face is in the top five! Hector Herrera of the Houston Dynamo has nine assists, along with Carles Gil and Daniel Gazdag. Cucho notched two more assists to Almada’s one, taking them to ten on the season.

Key MLS Week 24 Matches

With MLS week 24 being the second match in eight days for most teams, fans and bettors can expect significant changes to the starting lineups. However, that does not diminish the fact that there are three key matches for every MLS bettor to watch. Those three matches are New York Red Bulls vs. FC Cincinnati, LAFC vs. St. Louis CITY, and San Jose vs. Seattle Sounders.

San Jose Earthquakes vs. Seattle Sounders @ 7:30 pm PT

Out of all the matches for MLS bettors to watch, this might be the best chance at a decent payout. The odds for both teams will guarantee a positive payout, and both are in good form heading into the match. The Sounders have won their last two, while San Jose has drawn their last two with great performances. This match could go either way, but our money is on Seattle.
