Rara Thomas Stats: Wide Receiver Finds Way Into End Zone
Georgia Expected Big Things From Thomas in 2023

Few college football players have done more with fewer opportunities than Georgia receiver Rara Thomas. The Rara Thomas stats show Thomas has 12 touchdowns on just 62 receptions in his first two college football seasons. Now that he’s transferred to Georgia from Mississippi State, Thomas has a chance to find the end zone more.
The NCAAF scores show Georgia averages 9.5 more points per game than Mississippi State. Georgia is simply a better offensive team than Mississippi State. Thomas’ old team throws more often than Georgia, but Georgia averaged more yards per game. With teams having to defend the run, that opens it up for the passing game. So the Rara Thomas stats could be pretty impressive this season.
In his freshman year, the Rara Thomas stats show 18 receptions for 252 yards and five touchdown receptions. As a sophomore, the stat line shows 44 receptions for 626 yards and seven touchdowns. Thomas has never rushed the ball in a game so far. Georgia may change that.
The college football odds will have Georgia as prohibitive favorites in most games. But Georgia typically plays the first unit into the third quarter. There will be a few games Thomas and the other starters are on the bench by the third quarter. But that also means the offense did its job and put plenty of points on the scoreboard.
Thomas is no dummy. He knows what he’s doing in jumping ship to Georgia. He has a chance to win a national championship and to continue to put up impressive stats. That can only help when it’s time to turn pro.
