It’s the final week of the 2023 NFL regular season. You know what that means: a lot of heartbreak. And we’re not talking about NFL teams. Many bettors will be ripping their hair out because these wily underdogs will burst their bets. Just because many teams have “nothing to play for,” that doesn’t mean they won’t win. On the contrary, our best NFL teaser plays for Week 18 focus on these dogs.
Atlanta Falcons (+3) vs New Orleans Saints

Changes will come to the Falcons after yet another disappointing run. But that won’t stop these “Dirty Birds” from doing the Saints dirty one last time. The Saints must win this game to stay in the playoff hunt. And we’d be caught dead before we place any kind of money or NFL teaser pick on the “Aints.”
Dennis Allen has always been a subpar coach, and New Orleans is just 2-4 against the spread (ATS) as a home favorite. This team is also just 1-7 when facing a team with a record at .500 or better at the time they play them.
It brings us no joy backing Atlanta, either. The Falcons have the second-worst cover rate (31.3%). But they should be just as motivated to be one of our NFL teaser plays for Week 18. The Saints are a fraud and we’re betting they barely win this game or lose outright. Tease the Falcons from +3 to +9.
Chicago Bears (+3) vs Green Bay Packers

Chicago is not the underdog to mess with right now. The Bears are 5-1 ATS in their last six NFL games and are 4-2 straight-up. The defense is playing lights out, and the team fully supports quarterback Justin Fields. They’re playing with house money while Green Bay has chronically let everyone down. And the pressure is on.
While Jordan Love has proven himself a legitimate quarterback, this is a tough spot. The Packers are just 2-4 ATS in their last six games in January, and the team is riddled with NFL injuries. Green Bay destroyed Minnesota, but that has been its only impressive win since upsetting Kansas City five weeks ago.
The Bears are one of the best NFL teaser plays for Week 18, as we don’t see the Packers winning by more than a touchdown. Tease the Bears from +3 to +9.
Philadelphia Eagles vs New York Giants (+5.5)

Location: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ
Streaming: FOX
Like the Falcons-Saints game, we’re not betting the Giants because we love them but because the other team is a mess. Philadelphia is a far cry from being a part of the NFL Super Bowl bracket. Its offense is a dumpster fire right now, and it has lost four of its last five games. And sure, that one win came against the Giants. But it was only by eight points as a 14-point favorite.
We can’t foresee Philadelphia scoring 30+ points here, and we’ll expect the Giants, which will have Tyrod Taylor at quarterback, to put up a decent NFL score. Even if Philadelphia builds up a “big lead”, the Eagles may not go as hard as the Giants with the playoffs looming.
This is Taylor’s and the Giants’ last chance to make something of this NFL season. So they may have more incentive to push plays and rack up stats. We like the Giants here when push comes to shove, and a teaser makes it easier to back them. Tease the Giants from +5.5 to +11.5.
