Could Injury Actually Improve Burrow’s MVP Chances?
The silver lining to Burrow’s injury, especially for bettors, is that his odds of winning MVP could go up. At the moment, the bookmakers have him at 8-1 to win. He is tied with Josh Allen and Jalen Hurts and behind Patrick Mahomes at +650. But should Cincinnati struggle in its first few games without him, the voters may see Burrow as more valuable.
