There are plenty of quarterback issues heading into Sunday’s playoff matchup featuring AFC East rivals.

Miami will be without starting QB Tua Tagovailoa while Buffalo’s Josh Allen should be good to go and that will be a major factor in the Dolphins vs Bills Betting Odds.

The teams split the two regular-season games. However, Miami went 1-5 down the stretch and Buffalo has won its last seven completed games.

Buffalo (+400) is second only to the Kansas City Chiefs in the odds to win the Super Bowl while Miami is well back at +6600.

When Miami opened the season 3-0 with a two-point home win over Buffalo, first-year coach Mike McDaniel appeared to have a team capable of being a factor in the AFC playoffs. However, the Dolphins vs Bills Betting Odds lists Miami as a double-digit underdog.

Things started to change when Tagovailoa was injured in a loss to defending AFC champion Cincinnati. Still, a five-game winning streak gave the Dolphins an 8-3 record.

The situation with safety Damar Hamlin has turned casual fans into supporters of the Bills. The Buffalo players will have extra motivation playing for their teammate who collapsed on the field in a game against Cincinnati due to cardiac arrest. He was recently released from the hospital.

Buffalo has everything it needs to make a run at a Super Bowl title with an elite receiver (Stefon Diggs), MVP candidate at quarterback (Allen), multiple options at running back and playmakers on defense. Buffalo is a heavy favorite to advance according to the Dolphins vs Bills Betting Odds.

Buffalo will miss pass-rushing ace Von Miller but dealing with Miami’s elite receivers could be a little easier without Tagovailoa at quarterback.

Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (finger) is probable as either the veteran or rookie Skylar Thompson will start at quarterback for Miami. Offensive linemen Terron Armstead (toe), Liam Eichenberg (arm) and Kendall Lamm (ankle) are all questionable.

The Bills are in much better shape when looking at the NFL injury report with cornerback Christian Benford (oblique) questionable.

Buffalo has won eight of the last nine games against Miami. The Bills have won six straight home contests against the Dolphins with the last time Miami won in Orchard Park coming in 2016.

Buffalo had the best odds to win the Super Bowl for much of the season and this is the time of the year that the Bills need to start playing like a championship contender.

Miami didn’t not commit a turnover in the two games against the Bills in the two regular-season meetings and that will need to continue on Sunday.

The line opened with Buffalo favored by 10.5 points, but recently moved to 14 when Tagovailoa was ruled out for the game. It is a big loss considering that among players with at least 200 pass attempts, Tagovailoa led the NFL with a passer rating of 105.5. Bridgewater had a rating of 85.6 and Thompson’s rating was 62.2.

Buffalo doesn’t attempt to have a balanced offense as the Bills were 31 out of 32 teams in rushing attempts. That number could be even lower if not for Allen’s 124 carries. The Bills are one of the toughest teams to run against, allowing 103 yards per game while the Dolphins only give up 104.6 yards on the ground.
