It’s been well documented the issues that the Raiders have had on the field and off, but through it all, Vegas can be a .500 team with a win against the Jets. The Raiders have won three of their last four meetings against New York and are 15-3-1 as the home team all-time in the series.
The Raiders are coming off a beatdown of the New York Giants 30-6, their third-largest margin of victory in the last 13 seasons. It’s also been three NFL seasons since they’ve allowed just three points. We expect this game to feature Josh Jacobs, who is still one of the most underrated backs in the league despite having a rushing title under his belt.
The word from Raider headquarters is that the mood is much better since owner Mark Davis fired head coach Josh McDaniels in favor of interim coach Antonio Pierce.
