We still have the Kansas City Chiefs in the top spot. Oddsmakers opened San Francisco -1.5 but the public quickly pushed that up to San Fran -3 with a total of 47.5. Revenge Is Best Served Cold
The forecast calls for temperatures in the high 40s, but rain is expected during the day, making for a chilly night as the game progresses. This is the return visit by the Niners after getting dismissed by the Eagles (31-7) in last year’s NFC Championship game.

Eagles A Rare Home Dog
We think we speak for most we say that surprised doesn’t exactly cover it when finding out the send-out number favored the 49ers on the road. According to our power numbers, we expected the Eagles to be a 2-point favorite. Never has a 10-1 team has been a home underdog with their starting quarterback behind center.
Over the last five NFL seasons, Philadelphia is 9-11 ATS as a home underdog and 4-9 ATS as a home dog of less than five points. This number clearly shows that the oddsmakers think the Niners are far better than Philadelphia.
NFL stats may justify that with the 49ers outsourcing their opponents by almost 20 points a game over their last three NFL games, while the Eagles have won their last four games by a combined 19 points and seven of those were at Washington (38-31). Niners Facing A Team That Can Hold Up Their End
Over the last three weeks, San Francisco has put up 92 points but just one of those games has managed to go over the total because neither the Jacksonville Jaguars nor the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could give more than 14 points.
