Bettors Backing 49ers in NFC Championship Game Rematch
NFL Week 13 Early Odds: San Francisco Up to -3 Road Favorite

Highlighting the NFL Week 13 schedule is a rematch of last season’s NFC Championship Game between the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers at Lincoln Financial Field.
Although the Eagles own the league’s best record, they’ll head into this showcase in a rare position as an underdog. San Francisco, the current Super Bowl favorite, is now -3 on the spread after opening at -1.5.
What other NFL Week 13 early odds should bettors keep an eye on? Let’s take a look.
Dolphins vs Commanders
Day/Time:
Opening Total: 48.5 Points
Current Total: 49.5 Points
Oddsmakers have pegged this to be the highest scoring NFL game of Week 13, and with good reason. Led by quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, the Dolphins are averaging 30.8 points, second-most behind Dallas (31.5). They now face a defense that’s been one of the league’s worst over the past few weeks, particularly against the pass.
The Commanders have allowed 105 points during their current three-game losing streak, including 45 in a Thanksgiving Day loss to the Cowboys. If that’s not bad enough, they’ve given up a league-high 350 points on the NFL season, 29 more than the next closest NFL team (Arizona).
This has the makings of a shootout.
Cardinals vs Steelers
Day/Time:
Opening Total: Steelers -3.5
Current Total: Steelers -5.5
The Steelers got immediate support in the betting market, climbing to -6.5 on NFL Week 13 early odds before falling back a smidge to -5.5. That’s still a healthy number for the Steelers, who are 7-4 ATS this season, including 4-1 over their last five home games.
The Steelers bounced back in Week 12, defeating Cincinnati 16-10 to stay in the thick of the AFC playoff hunt. With offensive coordinator Matt Canada gone, they surpassed 400 yards of total offense for the first time since 2020.
Now they get the Cardinals, who dropped to 2-10 following their 37-14 loss to the Rams.
49ers vs Eagles
Day/Time:
Opening Total: Eagles +1.5
Current Total: Eagles +3
Despite owning the NFL’s best record at 10-1, including a 7-2-2 mark ATS, the Eagles opened as underdogs for the first time this season and the first time at home since 2021. The spread then jumped to +2 before settling at +3 over the last few days.
San Francisco (8-3), hoping to avenge last season’s NFC Championship loss, has won three straight following its bye. The 49ers are the only team besides Dallas to be ranked top 5 in both offense and defense. Current NFL betting lines have them as the Super Bowl favorite at +400.
Chiefs vs Packers
Day/Time:
Opening Total: Packers +7.5
Current Total: Packers +6
The Packers, winners of two straight and three of their last four, are trending in the right direction. At 5-6, they’re now on the cusp of the wild card race in the NFC.
The betting market’s reflected that, especially in recent days. Listed as 7.5-point underdogs to Kansas City in the NFL Week 13 early odds, the Packers are now down to +6. They’re 6-5 ATS, including 3-1 over their last four games.
Bengals vs Jaguars
Day/Time:
Opening Total: Jaguars -7.5
Current Total: Jaguars -8.5
The Bengals, losers of three straight, are going nowhere without Joe Burrow. Meanwhile, the Jaguars are surging at 8-3 and have a realistic shot at landing the AFC’s top seed.
It’s no wonder they’re one of the biggest favorites of Week 13.
