The latest 2024 Genesis Invitational odds are out and it’s a battle between Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy.
Scheffler is the king of winning at this time of the year, and he wasn’t far away at the Phoenix Open last week.
McIlroy is in better form having won in Dubai, so the PGA golf leaderboard could be stacked at Riviera Golf Course.

Scheffler Nearing Overdue PGA Win
The 27-year-old hasn’t won a PGA Tour since last March, so bettors are getting frustrated with Scheffler.
He’s always respected with PGA Championship odds and this week is no different. He’s a +750 favorite to win The Genesis Invitational, which is a fair price.
He finished third at the Phoenix Open when shooting -18 last week, and that followed a T6 finish at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
His lack of recent wins is a worry, but with the Masters approaching, he usually finds his best form. We wouldn’t be surprised if he started well on Thursday and never looked back.
Scheffler is our top pick to win, and it’s only a matter of time before he wins another PGA Tour tournament.
McIlroy Set for Bounce Back
Not much went right for McIlroy at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am when finishing T66.
He started poorly, but he only played in that event because it was made a signature event by the PGA Tour.
He looked much better when winning the Dubai Desert Classic in January. He won by a shot over Adrian Meronk, who has since joined the LIV Tour.
It was a quality win, and finishing right behind him was Cameron Young and recent LIV winner Joaquin Niemann.
He’s currently on the second line of betting with 2024 Genesis Invitational odds at +950. He’s good enough to be considered the outright favorite, so bettors get value odds for one of the best players in the world.
Chase Theory Applies with Fleetwood
One golf betting system is the chase theory, and we’re applying it to Tommy Fleetwood.
The Brit has yet to win on the PGA Tour, despite being one of the more talented golfers each and every week.
The 33-year-old is a seven-time European Tour winner, and he has numerous excellent finishes in the majors, which stands up well against this field.

“I’m very happy,” said Dubai resident Fleetwood. “It was amazing winning. Like almost everybody else in the world of golf, I don’t win anywhere near as much as I would like to but just that winning feeling is great.
“This is obviously where I live and have a lot of support. It’s great to kick off the year with a great result and push on from here.”
Fleetwood is a +3300 chance with 2024 Genesis Invitational odds, which is a value price.
Young Set for Breakthrough
Cameron Young is another player needing a breakthrough win in 2024.
The American has been near the top of the leaderboard throughout his career, but he has yet to win.
It’s only a matter of time before he wins, and the odds are good enough to keep following him until he wins.
Bettors get +4000 for Young, which is a fantastic price. He used to be around the +2000 mark, and he hasn’t been in bad form.
