The success the Baltimore Orioles have had in 2023 shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise because there isn’t one team that has produced more of a profit for bettors than the Baltimore Orioles over the last two MLB seasons. Based on a $100 per game wager, Baltimore is +$4932.
To put that in perspective, the Los Angeles Dodgers are second with +$1031 won. Baltimore is coming off a series win against the Arizona Diamondbacks (2-1) after an 8-5 win, Sunday. Angels Season Has Spun Out Of Control
After getting swept by the Oakland Athletics, who have been focused on the bright lights of Las Vegas since April, it’s clear that something has to change in Anaheim/Los Angeles next season and that likely means that Shohei Ohtani will find himself in another uniform next season.
Speaking of success over the last two seasons, the Angels are just 137-162 over their last two seasons. Only three other teams have lost more money for bettors, after spending just under 231 million on payroll. To be fair, Los Angeles had big names sitting on the MLB injury report for most of the season starting with the loss of Mike Trout who has played in just 82 games.
This has been the fourth straight season where Trout has been out of the line-up averaging just 69 games per season heading into 2023. The Halos have called up Kenny Rosenberg to start after making just seven appearances in relief this season. At AAA Salt Lake, Rosenberg was 7-7 with a 4.95 era in 20 starts.
