Clippers Picked to Bounce Back vs Suns
Suns vs Clippers Betting Preview

The Los Angeles Clippers ended their winning streak on Sunday, but our Suns vs Clippers betting preview suggests they can bounce back against the Phoenix Suns.
With the NBA West standings so close, it’s an important game at Crypto.com Arena on Monday, and the sportsbook has the Clippers at -6.5.

Will the Real Suns Turn Up?
The Suns are one of the more frustrating teams to bet on. Just when they look ready to win on a consistent basis, they lose to the Grizzlies at home.
The 121-115 loss sets them back, and they’re now 3.5 NBA games behind the Clippers, which wasn’t helped by a recent loss to them.
They lost 131-122 to the Clippers last week, so they need to do some soul searching to cover the spread.
Bettors haven’t had a fun time backing the Suns, who are 13-22-1 ATS, which is a dismal record. They aren’t being given much respect, so NBA spreads today are losing faith in the visitors.
The NBA injuries report doesn’t read well with Chris Paul out for several weeks. Their leader is out, which will either galvanize the team or see them spiral to a losing streak.
Our Suns vs Clippers betting preview takes into account this injury, and it’s hard to find positives for the Suns.
Clippers Seek Division Lead
Following a 106-103 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday, the Clippers lead in the Pacific standings is down to one over the Kings.
They want to keep their lead, and the loss ended a solid winning streak for Kawhi Leonard and his NBA team, who could easily bounce back against the Suns.
The Clippers are 22-13 after a slow start to the season, and they are 14-4 at home. That’s a tidy home record, and it’s why they’re being respected at -6.5 in betting markets.
Their ATS record of 18-17 is solid without being excellent, however, it’s considerably better than the Suns record.
Leonard had only 15 points in the loss to the Lakers, which wasn’t good enough according to coach Tyronn Lue.
“We just didn’t play a good offensive game,” Lue said. “There was a bad flow to the game offensively. I thought our defense was pretty good, but offensively we couldn’t get in a flow or a rhythm.”
Bettors should expect a better performance from their star NBA players. Paul George, Leonard, and James Harden are all premier scorers, and Phoenix’s defense is moderate at best.
Clippers with Statement Win
The Clippers would love nothing more than to score a statement win and we think they will.
They have the class edge over the Suns, and although the Suns have Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, the team hasn’t gelled since Durant was brought into the team.
Don’t forget that Durant’s NBA titles came with an already stellar Golden State Warriors, so his ability to lead a team to a championship comes into question.
We have no such doubts with Leonard, so we’re locking in the Clippers -6.5.
Our Suns vs Clippers betting preview also features under 226.5 points. We don’t see the Suns scoring too many points after playing yesterday, so include the under in your NBA picks.
