Buffalo is riding high and may be the most dangerous team heading the postseason. But not everything is “gravy” with this team and it begins with its quarterback: Allen. The former MVP runner-up has been inefficient since the bye, throwing three touchdowns versus three picks and completing just 55.6% of his throws. Still, Buffalo is 4-0 during this span.
The Bills are finding ways to win amidst its issues. Allen has scored with his legs: six rushing TDs, while the defense has forced vital turnovers. Buffalo has won the turnover battle in three of the last four games. So they are still not covering spreads, especially lofty one – just 2-2 ATS (against the spread) since the bye. That’s just the defense. On offense, running back Raheem Mostert, wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, and guard Robert Hunt are also dealing with injuries. And with the playoffs quickly approaching, the Dolphins may not have enough time or energy to adapt. Miami has not had a break since seven weeks ago.
