The New York Giants (0-1) were annihilated (40-0) against the Dallas Cowboys as a 3-point home underdog. They now have to go on the road to face the Arizona Cardinals (0-1) who lost to the Washington Commanders (20-16) as a 7-point underdog.
Unlike New York, the Cardinals led 16-10 with just under 12 minutes to go in the fourth quarter but gave up 10 unanswered in the loss. Arizona didn’t fly back from Washington questioning their overall performance like the Giants, because they knew it was just a few mistakes that led to the road loss. They have so much to build on while New York must feel like they’re being asked to build a skyscraper with Lincoln Logs.
We’re not sure that joke went over well, but we are sure the Cardinals were solid on defense and special teams. We’re not sure if Joshua Dobbs is the long-term answer, actually, we are, but until they can get a legit quarterback or Kyler Murray comes back, you can count on the offense struggling.
As an underdog since 2019, Arizona is 35-30 ATS but most of that came on the road (22-10-2). At home, the Cardinals are just 26-37-1 ATS since 2015.
