Heavyweights Feature in Aspinall vs Tybura Odds

UFC Fight Night Feature Bout

Aspinall vs Tybura odds have Tom Aspinall favored to win an important UFC heavyweight fight on Saturday.

The British fighter takes on Marcin Tybura on the UFC fight card, and Las Vegas odds have Aspinall at -450 to win.

As UFC fight results suggest, bettors should expect a close fight at the O2 Arena.

Aspinall Wants Bigger Fight

Aspinall is the clear favorite to win with Aspinall vs Tybura odds, and it’s not without reason.

Despite suffering a knockout loss to Curtis Blaydes, the 30-year-old possesses undeniable talent and determination. It’s been a year since his last fight due to the need for recovery, but he’s ready to make a strong comeback.

“I just feel like that year off helped me find what’s right for my body,” Aspinall said. “It helped me figure myself out more as an athlete. Just going to the gym and smashing myself – four hours training a day and then just having the other 20 hours doing whatever I want — I’m not really like that anymore.

“I live as an athlete now. I make sure I get the right rest, the right recovery stuff. My diet is good. Everything is in a good spot now.”

One of his most impressive performances was earlier last year, where he secured a first-round submission victory against Alexander Volkov. Aspinall has proven himself against some legendary heavyweights, so the betting favorite should be taken seriously.

A potential title contender fight could be available should he get through Tybura.

Tybura Going Steady

Despite what Aspinall vs Tybura odds suggest, Tybura has knockout power and he could cause an upset.

The 37-year-old fighter falls slightly below the top-tier heavyweights in the division, leading bookmakers to underestimate him. However, he has demonstrated impressive power with knockout victories against Greg Hardy and Luis Henrique.

Our main concern with Tybura lies in his performances against the more formidable heavyweights. He tends to struggle when facing elite fighters, and Aspinall is not far from that category.

On the other hand, Tybura holds a significant advantage with 24 wins, which is double the number of Aspinall’s victories. This experience factor cannot be ignored. Aspinall has shown moments of vulnerability in the past, which leaves room for a potential upset outcome in favor of Tybura.

UFC president Dana White believes Aspinall vs Jones could be on the cards.

“The heavyweight division is super exciting right now,’ White said. “You got Jon Jones as the champion, so obviously a win for [Aspinall] is big.

“Imagine if we could end up with an England vs. Jon Jones fight.”

“There’s no doubt that the heavyweight division is back and fun and exciting. You have big guys that have knockout power, guys with ground game. And then you got Jon Jones, who is the greatest of all time, so it’s a good time for the heavyweights.”
