NFL Week 11 Betting Analysis: Vikings Look to Continue Winning Ways

Broncos, Bengals, Look for Payback Against Division Rivals in Week 11

The Three Late Games On Sunday Could Come Down to the Wire

The three late-afternoon games on Sunday have a little bit of everything when looking at the NFL Week 11 betting odds.

The showdown of NFC contenders Dallas and Minnesota is clearly the most intriguing game and it is currently showing up as a Pick’em.

There are a pair of division rematches with visiting Cincinnati favored to earn a split of the season series with the offensively-challenged Steelers and the Las Vegas Raiders eyeing their first road win of the season when they face rival Denver.

Among the teams playing in the late games, Dallas and Cincinnati are among the best NFL teams against the spread this season with 6-3 marks while Denver and Pittsburgh are both 3-6.

Here’s a closer look at the games as well as some updates thanks to the NFL injury report.

Game of the Week

Dallas Cowboys vs Minnesota Vikings

Date, time (TV): Sunday, Nov. 20, 4:25 p.m. (CBS)
Moneyline: Cowboys -125, Vikings +105
Line: Pick’em

The Vikings are rolling and are tied for the best record in the NFL thanks to a seven-game winning streak that includes wins over AFC East contenders Miami and Buffalo. The overtime game with Buffalo had six turnovers with the Vikings turning four takeaways into 14 points. When looking at the NFL Week 11 odds, this has the potential of going either way.

Dallas (6-3) is sitting in third place in the NFC East even with the fourth-best record in the NFC.
Minnesota is 29th in the NFL in total defense and outside the top 10 in yards per game on offense, so it is not as if the Vikings are overwhelming every team they play.

  • The Cowboys squandered a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter and fell in overtime to Green Bay.
  • The Cowboys lead the NFL with 35 sacks while Minnesota is second with a +8 turnover margin.

Dallas has won four of the last five games against Minnesota. Each of the last six meetings have been decided by four points or less.

Other Games to Watch

Raiders vs Broncos

Date, time: Sunday, Nov. 20, 4:05 p.m. (FOX)
Moneyline: Raiders +125, Broncos -145
Line: Denver -2.5

Both teams were supposed to benefit from key offseason acquisitions with the Raiders traded from receiver Davante Adams while the Broncos acquired quarterback Russell Wilson. However, the teams are a combined 5-13.

Las Vegas joins Carolina as the only winless team on the road this season. Las Vegas is 0-6 in one-score games while the Broncos are 3-5 in games determined by a touchdown or less. Ironically, one of the few games that wasn’t decided by one score came when the teams met on Oct. 2. The NFL Week 11 betting odds has the total at 41, the lowest of the three late-afternoon kickoffs.

Quarterbacks Derek Carr of the Raiders and Wilson of the Broncos are 15th and 28th among starters in passing efficiency.

Las Vegas (2-7) will continue to play without tight end Darren Waller and receiver Hunter Renfrow. For Denver (3-6), receiver KJ Hamler is out indefinitely while Jerry Jeudy is questionable. With so many question marks at the skill positions, it is no wonder that the total is set at 41.

The Raiders have won the last five games against Denver and has covered in nine of the last 10.

Nine of the last 12 games between the teams finished under the total.

Bengals vs Steelers

Date, time: Sunday, Nov. 20, 4:25 p.m. (CBS)
Moneyline: Bengals -195, Steelers +170
Line: Cincinnati -4

The NFL teams have headed in different directions since the Steelers came away with a 23-20 win in overtime in the season opener.

Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow was sacked seven times and threw four interceptions in the game. Burrow also lost a fumble as 10 Pittsburgh points were scored after Cincinnati turnovers.

Cincinnati (5-4) is a game out of first place in the AFC North despite losing receiver Ja’Marr Chase while the Steelers (3-6) are three games behind first-place Baltimore.

Pittsburgh has won 12 of the last 14 games in the series with eight of those games finishing under the total.
The line opened up with the Bengals favored by six but has since moved to -4 according to the NFL spreads.
