Let’s Respect The Two Best Quarterbacks In The NFL On Sunday!

We See Value On The Chiefs vs Ravens AFC Odds For Sunday's Conference Championship

We’re just days away from finding out who will play in the Super Bowl LVIII.

On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs will travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens in the first Conference Championship.

The Chiefs have earned two consecutive wins in the postseason, including a win over Miami and Buffalo to make the AFC Championship Game.

The Chiefs haven’t missed the AFC Championship Game since Patrick Mahomes took over. Ultimately, this was the first year the Chiefs weren’t expected to make the game. However, on the road, Mahomes and the Chiefs found a way against the Buffalo Bills to become a top-four team for another season.

On the other hand, the Ravens only had to play one game in the AFC Playoffs so far. Baltimore earned the No. 1 seed, forcing them to wait another week to play its first game in the Playoffs. The Ravens took on the Houston Texans in last week’s Divisional Playoffs. They started slow but finished the second half strong with a 34-10 win.

The defense didn’t allow a single touchdown against C.J. Stroud and the Texans. That was convincing. Now the question is if the Ravens can sustain that kind of defense against the Chiefs on Sunday.

The Ravens are currently -3.5 (-120). Meanwhile, the total is currently at 44.5, with the Under having a higher probability of hitting.

The Chiefs opened up at +3.5 (-120). Now the Ravens are sitting at -3.5 (-120) instead. Some books have even moved to a 4 number. The Chiefs can be added at +4 (-110) right now.

Meanwhile, the total hasn’t shifted much. Every book has stayed at 44.5. However, the Under has gone as high as -112, while the Over has been as low as -108. The Under is slightly juiced.

Let’s look at the Chiefs vs Ravens AFC odds as we get closer to game time.

Kansas City’s Defense Deserves More Credit

The Kansas City Chiefs were more consistent defensively than offensively this season. That’s ultimately why Kansas City is in the playoffs and making another run for a Super Bowl.

Kansas City linebacker Nick Bolton was asked about defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo. The reporter at The Kansas City Star wanted to know what makes Spagnuolo an effective coach.

Bolton spoke in depth.

He agreed that Spagnuolo isn’t afraid to change or make adjustments during a game. His motto is “It’s not about who’s right; it’s about getting it right.”

Bolton explained the mindset of the team going into each game.

The halftime adjustments from the Chiefs against the Bills were apparent. Spags changed the pass-rush lanes and didn’t allow Josh Allen to scramble as much. This isn’t surprising. The Chiefs led the NFL in points allowed in the second half, giving up an average of seven points after 19 games played.

Safety Justin Reid called it the “Spagnuolo Effect.”

We Still Don’t Know About Mark Andrews!

In one of the biggest games in Baltimore history, head coach Jim Harbaugh is still non-committal to the potential of Mark Andrews getting reps in Sunday’s game against the Chiefs.

Despite a gruesome ankle injury in the middle of the season, Andrews worked his way back and hoped to be available for a playoff run with the Ravens.

He practiced fully multiple times last week, but that wasn’t enough to get him into the game against the Texans in the Divisional Playoffs.

But after practicing fully some days this week, the fans and media want to know if the Ravens will have their star tight end back for this game.

However, it looks like we’ll have to wait until game time to really know if Andrews will get the start for the Ravens.

The Public Loves The Texans

The Ravens have been the more consistent team this season. Lamar Jackson is about to win an MVP Award and added 13 wins in 16 games as the starting quarterback for Baltimore in the regular season.

Although the offense started slow in the first half in the Divisional Playoffs, Jackson rallied the troops in the second half and finished the game with four total touchdowns and more than 100 yards rushing with over 250 yards passing.

Jackson did this with his starting running back, J.K. Dobbins, who was sidelined with an Achilles injury. He also did this with a rookie wide receiver, Zay Flowers, leading the way in the passing game.

On top of that, he didn’t even have one of the best tight ends in the game for nearly half the season due to an ankle injury. That ultimately proves why Jackson will win the MVP Award after all.

Conversely, he’ll have to face one of the most accomplished quarterbacks in the era. Patrick Mahomes has multiple Super Bowls and three Super Bowl appearances. He’s also never missed the AFC Championship Game in his life.

Mahomes typically finds a way in January. But he does have a couple of losses in this game. The difference between this AFC Championship Game and others is that the Chiefs are finally on the road. This hasn’t happened yet in his career.

The Ravens are a loud and passionate fanbase. But so were the Bills, and the Chiefs still escaped on the road in the AFC Divisional Round.

Both defenses are spectacular. But we can’t count out the top two quarterbacks in the NFL.

The Ravens have a higher probability regarding the Super Bowl odds. However, we believe the AFC Championship score will go Over 44.5 (-105). Both quarterbacks will be ready for this AFC Championship Game.

After reviewing the Chiefs vs Ravens AFC odds, we like the Ravens to escape at -200. However, if you can find a +4 on the Chiefs against the spread at -110, we’d back the Chiefs against the spread, ultimately thinking this game will come down to a field goal.

Most of all, the Over 44.5 is appealing between the two best quarterbacks in the NFL.
