NFL Specials – Tom Brady Next Team Odds

The Brady Sweepstakes

Will he or won’t he retire? That is the question that is making the rounds of NFL betting circles as the 2022 NFL season winds down and free agency looms ahead for legendary quarterback Tom Brady. Of course, If he doesn’t retire, then the next logical question is where will Brady play next season. And therein lies the crux of the latest smorgasbord of Brady-inspired NFL specials to hit the market, including the Tom Brady Next Team Odds market.

Will Brady stay put in Tampa Bay? Is a Patriots reunion in the cards? Or could he cross country and settle for a west coast team for the first time in his storied career?

So many questions, bookmakers weighing in on the matter, a lot of Tom Brady predictions being floated, but no real answers.

Here’s our analysis and take on the NFL betting odds currently on offer complete with NFL picks for your consideration. We’ll discuss his retirement prospects, winning another SuperBowl and the Tom Brady Next Team Odds market.

Will Tom Brady Retire in 2023?

  • Yes -260
  • No +170

The top question about Brady’s future involves the potential of retirement. After all, he famously retired last season, albeit it was short lived and lasted 40 days before he reversed his retirement.

By the betting online odds, it would appear that markets favor a retirement this year at a whopping -260. This stands in stark contrast with what Brady himself has expressed on a number of occasions, his desire to play for a couple of years.

Sure, Brady isn’t having the best of years – both on and off the field. He isn’t considered in the most valuable player race as the current Tom Brady MVP odds priced at +10000 would suggest. But that’s neither here nor there for a player of his quality, talent and credentials.

Call it a nagging feeling, but pigs will fly before Brady calls it a day in 2023.

Pick: No: +170

Will Tom Brady Win Another Super Bowl Before He Retires?

  • Yes +1800

This market is literally begging for a bet! Screaming for it! This is the proverbial gift horse with odds of +1800 attached. And as the saying goes, one doesn’t stare a gift horse in the mouth.

One also never writes off the 45-year-old veteran. Heck, just last Sunday, he engineered two scoring drives, including the game-winning drive, in the final three minutes to lift the Buccaneers to the 17-16 win over the New Orleans Saints. It marked the second time this season and a record-setting 44th come-from-behind win in the fourth quarter or overtime by Brady.

Granted, Tampa Bay’s season which is poised delicately on a 6-6-0 record, hasn’t lived up to its predecessors. But that has nothing to do with Brady’s play – well, not entirely. The good news for the Buccaneers is that the NFC South as a whole is a shambles.

So long as Tampa Bay stays abreast of its neighbors in the division, winning the NFC South will guarantee them a spot in the playoffs. After that, who knows what will happen. The postseason is an entirely new ballgame game. Anything can happen. Such as Brady and Tampa Bay launching an incredible run to another Super Bowl victory

Put simply, If there’s ever a quarterback that could win a Super Bowl, it’s Brady. Even amidst the current crop of outstanding young and talented quarterbacks, Brady is still in a league of his own. You don’t win seven Super Bowls by accident and as recently as 2020.

Pick: Yes +1800

Where Will Tom Brady Play Next? (if he doesn’t retire)

Last Updated: 12/9/2022Odds
Stays at Buccaneers -180
Raiders+200
49ers +200
Dolphins +400
Patriots+500
Titans +700
Steelers +800
Cowboys+1800
Any Other +2200

As the Tom Brady Next Team Odds market clearly suggests, the logical option for Brady is to stay in Tampa Bay, priced at -180. He’s enjoyed immense success with the team over the last two seasons. Plus, he still could add more success this year. The season isn’t over yet.

It is somewhat surprising to see the Raiders as a potential destination priced at +200. Aside from reuniting with his former offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, there’s little else in Sin City to appeal.

The 49ers is an interesting option that is also priced at +200. It’s a sentimental one that would see Brady return to his childhood roots. But the big question here is, Would the Niners entertain such a prospect? When they made such a public whoopdedoo about replacing longtime quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo with the fresh-faced Trey Lance?

The Dolphins at +400 isn’t a logical option unless Tua Tagovailoa pulls an Andrew Luck and retires abruptly. Miami is invested in Tagovailoa.

The Patriots at +500 is a nostalgic bet, one that would be motivated by an urge to dial back the clock and return to the good old days of New England dominance and the Patriots’ Way. The idea of a Brady-Bill Belichick reunion was fueled by Brady’s attendance at Robert Kraft’s wedding in October.

The last few teams listed on this list are priced at +700 and higher. Those are essentially longshot bets and not worth considering at this point in time for a number of reasons.

All told, Tampa Bay is the best spot for Brady right now.

Pick: Tampa Bay Buccaneers -180
