NFL Week 15 Spreads: Titans and Chargers Ready to Rumble in Key AFC Showdown

Patriots Face Former Offensive Coordinator Josh McDaniels

Can Tampa Bay Bounce Back From Debacle When Cincinnati Comes to Town?

Even with the NFL Week 15 matchups including three Saturday games, there are some intriguing showdowns in Sunday’s late afternoon kickoffs.

The Tennessee Titans and Los Angeles Chargers are both fighting for playoff spots, the New England Patriots look to continue their push for a postseason berth while the Cincinnati Bengals head to face a Tampa Bay team that leads the NFC South despite being two games under .500. The best thing to say about the matchup between the Denver Broncos and Arizona Cardinals is that the NFL season will soon be over for both of them.

Cincinnati (+1000) is sixth in the odds to win the Super Bowl followed by the Buccaneers (+3000) Chargers (+3300), Titans (+5000) and Patriots (+10000).

Game of the Week

Tennessee Titans vs Los Angeles Chargers

Date & Time & Streaming:
Moneyline: Tennessee +130, Los Angeles Chargers -150
Line: Chargers -3

Good luck trying to figure out what either of these two teams are going to do!

The Titans (7-6) lost a chance to basically wrap up a division title as four turnovers proved costly in a home loss to Jacksonville.

The Chargers followed up a loss to the Raiders by upsetting Miami.

Six straight games played – the Chargers finished as one-score affairs with Los Angeles going 3-3 in those games.

Perhaps with receivers Mike Williams and Keenan Allen both available, that is what the offense needs to take off.

A concern when looking at the NFL injury report is the availability of Los Angeles safety Derwin James as he is dealing with a quad issue.

Tennessee hopes to get rookie receiver Treylon Burks back. He has missed five games and been limited in a couple of others. He is dealing with a concussion so keep an eye on the Week 15 injury reports. Rookie tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo has 15 catches over his last three games. Still, the offense is built around Derrick Henry, the second-leading rusher in the NFL heading into this week’s games.

Both teams are 8-5 against the spread while the Chargers have covered in each of the last six home games when facing Tennessee. The total has gone from 45.5 to 47.5 with the spread moving from -1.5 to 3.

Other Games to Watch

Arizona Cardinals vs Denver Broncos

Date & Time & Streaming:
Moneyline: Arizona +130, Denver -150
Line: Denver -3

Just call this the underachieving bowl. Both Arizona and Denver were expected to compete for playoff spots, but the Cardinals are 4-9 and Broncos 3-10. This is certainly not one of the can’t miss Week 15 NFL Spreads.

Now, instead of Kyler Murray and Russell Wilson at quarterback in this game, it will be Colt McCoy going for Arizona and there is a chance that it will be Brett Rypien making his second start of the season for the Broncos unless Wilson clear’s concussion protocol. If he does, he won’t need to deal with Arizona defensive end Zach Allen as he is out with a hand injury

Denver has lost six games in a row and Arizona is riding a three-game losing streak so somebody will need to win this game.

The teams are a combined 11-15 against the spread while just two of Denver’s first 13 games finished over the total. Denver has already been eliminated from playoff contention and Arizona will soon join the Broncos in that department.

New England Patriots vs Las Vegas Raiders

Date & Time & Streaming:
Moneyline: New England -115, Las Vegas -105
Line: Even

Now that the team is in Las Vegas, does the frustration of Raiders’ fans about the Patriots and infamous “Tuck Rule” game linger? That ruling potentially cost the Raiders a chance to advance in the playoffs when an apparent fumble by New England quarterback Tom Brady was ruled not to be a fumble in a 2001 playoff game.

New England (7-6) is fighting for a playoff spot while the Raiders (5-8) would probably have to win out to have a chance to make the postseason.

Former New England offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels is in his first season as the Raiders head coach as he goes up against his mentor Bill Belichick that adds some flavor to this game when looking at the NFL Week 15 Spreads.

New England has won six games in a row against the Raiders with the last win by the Raiders’ franchise against New England coming in 2002. The Patriots have covered in five of the last six matchups with the Los Angeles/Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders.

Cincinnati Bengals vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Date & Time & Streaming:
Moneyline: Cincinnati -195, Tampa Bay +165
Line: Cincinnati -4

The Tampa Bay defense looked powerless to stop the 49ers with rookie Brock Purdy at quarterback last week. What will they do against Joe Burrow and the Bengals? When looking at the NFL team stats, the Bengals are fourth in passing offense with the Buccaneers sixth in passing defense.

Cincinnati (9-4) is battling it out with Baltimore for the AFC North Division title. Tampa Bay (6-7) still has a one-game lead in the NFC South, the worst division in the NFL this year. Tampa Bay is just 3-6 outside the division, while Cincinnati is 7-1 when playing outside of the AFC North.

When looking at the key NFL Week 15 key injuries, receiver Tyler Boyd is expected to play for Cincinnati, Tee Higgins is questionable with a tender hamstring.

Cincinnati has won the last two games against the Buccaneers after Tampa Bay took the previous six.

Cincinnati is 5-2 against the spread on the road while Tampa Bay is 1-5-1 ATS at home.
