Finding Future Value on NFL Playoff Teams

The 2024 NFL Playoff Odds Board Is Set!

The stage is set for the 2024 NFL Playoffs!

We’ve got 14 teams fighting for a Super Bowl trophy, with seven teams from the NFC and another seven NFL teams from the AFC.

Currently, the San Francisco 49ers are projected to play the Baltimore Ravens in the Super Bowl per the 2024 NFL Playoffs odds. This would be a rematch of a game earlier in the season when the Ravens absolutely destroyed the 49ers.

Uncover Exclusive Picks & Predictions From Our Experts.

But while the Ravens earned a win in that game, if both teams were to play each other in the Super Bowl, the 49ers would still be favorites at this time.

With that said, let’s take a look at the 2024 NFL Playoff bracket below.

2024 NFL Playoff Bracket

AFC:
1. Ravens
2. Bills vs. 7. Steelers
3. Chiefs vs. 6. Dolphins
4. Texans vs. 5. Browns

NFC:
1. 49ers
2. Cowboys vs. 7. Packers
3. Lions vs. 6. Rams
4. Buccaneers vs. 5. Eagles

As mentioned above, the 49ers and Ravens are favorites to win their division and play for a Super Bowl. Those two teams are the No. 1 seeds in their respective conferences and have a bye week.

The road to the Super Bowl is one game shorter than any of the other teams.

Baltimore Ravens

The San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens each have great paths to their respective conference championships. You can’t go wrong with either team. However, if I had to choose one, I’d take the Ravens at +310.

The Ravens will play the winner of the Browns-Texans game. While the Browns have hit their stride recently with Joe Flacco, the Ravens know a little bit more about Joe Flacco.

In his earlier days, Flacco was quarterback for the Ravens and helped them win Super Bowl XLVII in 2013 over the San Francisco 49ers. Flacco threw for 287 yards and three touchdowns in that game.

But the Ravens know his tendency. Flacco certainly can’t move around the pocket like he used to, either.

It’s been a fun ride for Flacco with the Browns. He’s already thrown for 1,616 yards with 13 touchdowns and eight interceptions in five games. He’s also completed over 60% of his passes. But this man was sitting on a couch contemplating retirement earlier in the year. The mojo is about to run out for Flacco, who has also had a turnover issue since starting for Cleveland.

On the other hand, the Houston Texans are still too young to fight against Baltimore. It’s been a fun rookie season for Stroud, but even if he performs well against the Browns, it’ll be hard to put back-to-back performances together against the Ravens.

Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys finished the regular season with 12 wins and earned the NFC East title. They’ll be the No. 2 seed, which means Dallas would absolutely be the home team next week with a win over the Packers.

Dallas went 8-0 at home this season. Nobody has beaten them on their home field.

The Cowboys would have to play the Rams or Lions in the next game. Dallas already defeated the Lions at home in a controversial finish. They also dominated the Rams earlier this year, 43-20 on their home field.

Plus, if the 49ers lose in the NFC Divisional round and the Cowboys win, they’d have another home game in the NFC Championship before the Super Bowl.

Dak Prescott had some of the best numbers for quarterbacks this season. He threw plenty of interceptions last year but limited interceptions to under ten this season. That’s real growth. The Cowboys at +750 isn’t so bad. They won’t be +750 when they’re in the top 4.

Kansas City Chiefs

We’re not going to rule out the Kansas City Chiefs.

The reigning and defending Super Bowl Champions are +1000 to win the Super Bowl. While the offense doesn’t have reliable pieces like other years, the defense has stepped up in a big way.

Kansas City is facing off against Miami in the first round of the playoffs. The Chiefs already beat the Dolphins in Germany, 21-14, earlier this season. Now Kansas City will be home against the Dolphins, who must play in freezing weather. That’s not ideal for a team from Miami.

With a win, the Chiefs would have to face the Steelers or Bills. While Kansas City lost to the Bills earlier in the year, 20-17, Kansas City traditionally escapes Buffalo in the playoffs. The Bills always find a way to lose out on an opportunity to play in the Super Bowl.

Josh Allen will make some mistakes that will cost the Bills against the Chiefs, allowing the Chiefs to take on the Ravens in the AFC Championship.

If you have the Ravens and Chiefs to win the Super Bowl, you can hedge or know that you have at least one team that will be playing for the Super Bowl. You’d earn legitimate profit with the 2024 NFL Playoff odds.
