Add a 3-Point Teaser on These Totals To Go ‘Under’
Last week’s top teaser plays cashed and proved why we rightly used 6.5 points, as Kansas City and Las Vegas just went under the new total. This week, the Chiefs are back as part of our trio of NFL Week 13 teaser plays. Most of the teams involved here have underwhelming offenses and/or solid defenses. Adding 3.0 points ensures these NFL matchups go under the total, and it insures our bets.
Falcons vs Jets (33.5)

These teams have offenses that are hard to watch. Just check the live NFL scores. Atlanta is scoring just 15 points per road game, while the Jets’ offense is so bad that Aaron Rodgers, still with an Achilles tear, is rushing to get back on the field. But a 33.5-point total could be a tad too low.
It’s plausible one team finishes with 20+ points here. After all, the vaunted Jets defense is allowing 21.5 points at home and a whopping 131.5 rushing yards, something Atlanta is good at (130.2 per road game). Adding 3.0 points puts the total to 36.5, which is a nice solid number. Add this as the first of our NFL Week 13 teaser plays. Tease Falcons-Jets Under 33.5 to Under 36.5.
Chargers vs Patriots (40)

The next game features an NFL team that is even worse than the Jets: the Patriots. Switching from Mac Jones to Bailey Zappe at quarterback will probably improve New England’s offense by a few points. Hence, we’ll move their total from 40 to 43 points as part of our NFL Week 13 teaser plays.
The Patriots may find success in throwing against the Chargers’ 30th-ranked passing defense. On the flip side, Justin Herbert could shred New England’s defense. The Chargers are a top-10 team when it comes to offensive conversions. But the Patriots have only hit the 20-point mark twice all season, And the Chargers’ defense can be adept at forcing turnovers. In the end, bank on this game to go under 43 points. Tease Chargers-Patriots Under 40 to Under 43.
Chiefs vs Packers (42.5)

The Chiefs and Raiders went just a bit over their original total but under the 6.5-point teaser. Now, we get a similar line against the Packers in Lambeau Field. Jordan Love has looked good lately. He’s completed 65.2% of his passes for eight touchdowns against two interceptions in his last four starts. But this hot run ends against the Chiefs’ top-notch defense.
Kansas City is giving up just 18.2 points and 4.63 yards per play on the road, which are both fourth overall. Along with a struggling offense that averages just 19 points, Chiefs road games have averaged under 40 points. This trend should continue with Green Bay, which has an average defense at worst.
As the NFL playoff schedule gets closer, the intensity will ramp up. The Chiefs’ offense picked it up when it fell behind 14-0 to the Raiders. This is why this team still has short Super Bowl odds despite the shortcomings. But the Packers won’t melt like Las Vegas. This will be a defensive game with a score lower than our teased 45.5 points. Tease Chiefs-Packers Under 42.5 to Under 45.5.
