NFL Full Schedule Week 17 with Spreads: Bengals, Chiefs Highlight Week’s Slate

Big Schedule of NFL Games on New Year's Eve

A fair slate of games awaits bettors for the New Year’s holiday weekend. Many of the games will have some sort of playoff implications. Some of them you can predict early, while others will be a bit of a surprise. With just two weeks remaining in the NFL regular season, playoff hopefuls should be focused on the games. Players from the also-rans could be going through motions and planning their late January vacations. The NFL Full Schedule Week 17 with spreads have just five road teams favored.

Jets logo New York Jets at Cleveland Browns Browns logo

Day/Time:
Odds: New York -1
Moneyline: New York -115

The NFL Full Schedule Week 17 odds have the Jets as 1-point road favorites. New York figures to be battling for a playoff berth. The Browns look to be a step below the Ravens and Bengals, but the postseason isn’t entirely out of the question. Cleveland was 4-4 at home last year and should be ready for its final game in the ‘Dawg Pound’ this season. The NFL Week 17 weather forecast could call for nasty conditions in Cleveland. January is the coldest month of the year.

Lions logo Detroit Lions at Dallas Cowboys Cowboys logo

Day/Time:
Odds: Dallas -3.5
Moneyline: Dallas -175

A pretty decent game for the lone NFL contest of the day. Detroit is expected to be a real contender in the NFC North, while Dallas and Philadelphia are the top two teams in the NFC East and both have a strong shot at the playoffs. The Lions were 4-4 on the road last season and one of those defeats was a 24-6 setback in Dallas.

Detroit should be stronger than last year’s squad, however. The Cowboys were 8-1 at home and 6-3 ATS. This is the last home game of the year for the Cowboys. The NFL odds have Dallas -3.5 and that could be a little bit low. Dallas deserves some consideration as one of your NFL Week 17 picks.

Patriots logo New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills Bills logo

Day/Time:
Odds: Buffalo -6.5
Moneyline: Buffalo -270

The NFL Full Schedule Week 17 odds have the Buffalo Bills -6.5 to get the New Year’s Eve schedule started. It’s a little surprising the Bills aren’t -7 after they were favored by 13.5 points last year. Buffalo is coming off a five-game stretch against playoff teams from last year, including Philadelphia, Dallas and Kansas City, so it’s not the best of spots for the Bills.

How Buffalo fared in those five games will go a long way in determining what type of effort the Bills give here. If Buffalo has the division title wrapped up, the Bills could coast a little bit here. The Patriots appear to be a little overmatched in the AFC East. This is one of the tougher NFL Week 17 matchups to try and forecast.

Rams logo Los Angeles Rams at New York Giants Giants logo

Day/Time:
Odds: New York -3
Moneyline: New York -165

The NFL Week 17 Vegas odds seem a little bit low on the Giants here. The Rams aren’t getting much respect throughout the season and now they’re only getting a field goal from New York. The Giants were 5-3-1 straight-up and 6-3 ATS at home last season.

If New York has something to play for, you have to figure the odds are going to be a little higher the week of the game. The Rams could surprise some people if they can stay healthy, although that’s a pretty big if right now.

Raiders logo Las Vegas Raiders at Indianapolis Colts Colts logo

Day/Time:
Odds: Las Vegas -2
Moneyline: Las Vegas -125

The NFL Week 17 lines have Las Vegas favored on the road for the only time this season. For some reason the Raiders were road favorites four times last year. They went 0-4. The Colts aren’t world beaters by any stretch of the imagination. But they have a real coach this year after the Jeff Saturday experiment turned out to fizzle last season. Las Vegas may be the slightly better team, but it’s awfully hard to back them on the road. The Colts +8 looks real tempting in a teaser.

Cardinals logo Arizona Cardinals at Philadelphia Eagles Eagles logo

Day/Time:
Odds: Philadelphia -11
Moneyline: Philadelphia -535

The Eagles are the largest of the NFL Week 17 favorites and that’s a bit of a recurring theme this season in that whoever is playing Arizona will be favored by quite a few points. The Cardinals should be well on their way to a disappointing season, while the Eagles may have already clinched a playoff spot.

This is the last regular season home game for the Eagles, who can probably name the score in this one. They may not be inclined to really run up the score here and may be more interested in getting a win and getting out of the game healthy.

Dolphins logo Miami Dolphins at Baltimore Ravens Ravens logo

Day/Time:
Odds: Baltimore -1.5
Moneyline: Baltimore -120

This one could turn out to be a pretty solid game, as Miami travels to Baltimore to face the Ravens. The Dolphins will be in for a little bit of climate shock. But once the game begins Miami should be fine. Baltimore isn’t an easy place for road teams to go into and come out with a victory.

Baltimore was 5-3 straight-up at home last season. But the Ravens were just 2-6 against the spread, winning three games by three points or less. The Dolphins won in Baltimore 42-38 last year, so a revenge game for the Ravens and their defense. The Ravens offer a bit of value as one of your NFL Week 17 against the spread plays.

Falcons logo Atlanta Falcons at Chicago Bears Bears logo

Day/Time:
Odds: Chicago -2
Moneyline: Chicago -130

These two teams figure to be a bit behind the leaders in the NFL standings, so the only thing they should be playing for is pride. You can also add job security into the equation, as coaches will be evaluating players in the offseason when it’s time to offer them new contracts or not.

The Falcons were 1-7 straight-up on the road last season. The Bears were 2-7 at home, but Chicago should be a better team this season. It’s a little early to tell if the Falcons will match last year’s seven wins. If you have to play the game, the NFL Week 17 predictions will favor the Bears.

Titans logo Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans Texans logo

Day/Time:
Odds: Tennessee -1
Moneyline: Tennessee -115

The Titans are favored by a point after splitting their two games with Houston last season. This one is a quick rematch of the Dec. 17 game played in Tennessee. Be sure to check the NFL scores of that game before playing this one.

The Titans kept its veterans together for one last playoff push and this is the type of game Tennessee can’t afford to lose. The Titans are ‘pick ’em’ twice on the road this season but this is the only time they’re a road favorite. Both games between these two landed under the total last season and there’s no reason for the NFL Week 17 over under predictions to call for a different outcome in this game.

49ers logo 49ers at Commanders Commanders logo

Day/Time:
Odds: San Francisco -3.5
Moneyline: San Francisco -170

The San Francisco 49ers are favored by just 3.5 points on the road and the NFL Week 17 point spread on this game seems too low. But the danger with taking San Francisco in this one is there’s a decent chance the 49ers have the division wrapped up and could be resting some players.

If this game is meaningful for San Francisco the line should be closer to 49ers -6. If the 49ers have nothing to play for it could be a shade high. The Commanders host Dallas next week and that would be a bigger game for Washington if they’re out of the playoffs due to the rivalry between the two.

Panthers logo Carolina Panthers at Jacksonville Jaguars Jaguars logo

Day/Time:
Odds: Jacksonville -5
Moneyline: Jacksonville -205

The Jaguars are favored by 5 points at home over the Panthers in their final home game of the season. Jacksonville should have something to play for in this game, whether it’s the division title or home field advantage, so you would expect a solid effort. If the Jags can take another step forward, this is the type of game they have to take care of business in.

The Panthers will live and die with Bryce Young this season and as Trevor Lawrence has proven, sometimes it take a year or two before things begin to click for young quarterbacks. With the NFL Week 17 odds at Jacksonville -5, the Jaguars have to be the play.

Saints logo New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Buccaneers logo

Day/Time:
Odds: New Orleans -1.5
Moneyline: New Orleans -120

The Saints are favored by 1.5 on the road against Tampa Bay in the final home game of the year for the Bucs. The Saints have the luxury of playing in one of the weaker divisions in football, so New Orleans could have clinched a playoff game by now unless one of the other teams surprises.

Derek Carr should fit right in with New Orleans and it’s hard to see anybody but the Saints taking the division. The Bucs are going through a bit of a rebuild and you can’t take it for granted Tampa believes Baker Mayfield is a long-term solution at quarterback. New Orleans should be one of the more popular NFL Week 17 bets on the week.

Steelers logo Pittsburgh Steelers at Seattle Seahawks Seahawks logo

Day/Time:
Odds: Seattle -2.5
Moneyline: Seattle -135

The late games get started with a decent matchup, as Pittsburgh visits Seattle in a game that could have playoff implications for one or both teams. Neither figure to be able to challenge for the division title, but with a few breaks, both could be in the hunt for a wild card berth. Pittsburgh was 6-4-1 against the spread as an underdog last year. Seattle was 3-3 as a favorite, but just 1-5 against the spread. That alone would suggest a lean to the Steelers for an NFL Week 17 play.

Bengals logo Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs Chiefs logo

Day/Time:
Odds: Kansas City -3
Moneyline: Kansas City -155

This one is the best game of the week, as two AFC heavyweights battle it out in Kansas City. This one could be for home field advantage in the playoffs. The Bengals have an axe to grind after being eliminated by Kansas City in the playoffs last year. The Chiefs will be ready for the game, just as Cincinnati will be.

The Bengals were 7-4 on the road last year and 8-3 against the spread. Kansas City was 9-1 straight-up at home, although the Chiefs were a disappointing 3-6 against the spread. Five of Kansas City’s nine home wins were by three points or less. It’s probably easier to make a case for the Bengals than it is for the Chiefs. The NFL Week 17 betting odds of Kansas City -3 suggest a lean to the road underdog.

Chargers logo Los Angeles Chargers at Denver Broncos Broncos logo

Day/Time:
Odds: Denver -1
Moneyline: Denver -115

This one could have playoff implications depending on how much Sean Payton can improve the Denver offense. The Chargers figure to be pushing for a wild card. But it’s not easy in the AFC, as you have the three AFC East teams to contend with and Baltimore and Cincinnati in the North.

Either the Broncos or Chargers can get there depending on how the other teams fare, as a team like the Jets face Buffalo and Miami twice. Right now, the safest play is to take the Chargers as one of your NFL Week 17 spread picks. Los Angeles is a little more proven right now.

Packers logo Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings Vikings logo

Day/Time:
Odds: Minnesota -3 (-115)
Moneyline: Minnesota -160

The NFL Full Schedule Week 17 odds have the Vikings favored by 3 in the final game of the week. Both teams enter the season with some question marks. For the Packers, it’s obviously how Jordan Love will fare replacing Aaron Rodgers. For Minnesota, it’s a matter of how much the Vikings drop after winning every close game they were in a year ago.

Both teams could be a little underrated by the betting public entering the season. The Vikings end the season at Detroit next week. If that game is going to meaningful, you could do worse than take Minnesota as one of your NFL Week 17 spread picks.
