NFL Week 3 Full Schedule
Good Betting Opportunities Await Bettors in Week 3

There’s a lack of marquee games on the NFL Week 3 full schedule. But that doesn’t mean there won’t be plenty of good betting opportunities. The two don’t always go hand-in-hand, and you can often find better value in the lackluster games.
New York Giants at San Francisco 49ers
Date & Time:
Odds: San Francisco -6
Moneyline: San Francisco -240
The NFL Week 3 full schedule begins with a decent matchup between the Giants and the 49ers. Counting the playoffs, these two NFL teams are 21-21 against one another all-time. However, the 49ers are 19-12 since 1980. Both teams are coming off road games. It will be the second straight West Coast game for the Giants, who play at Arizona the previous week. The 49ers deserve a look as one of your NFL Week 3 picks vs spread.
Los Angeles Chargers at Minnesota Vikings
Date & Time:
Odds: Los Angeles -1.5
Moneyline: Los Angeles -120
The Chargers visit Minnesota as small road favorites and this won’t be an easy game. The Chargers play at Tennessee the previous week, while the Vikings are at Philadelphia. Minnesota’s game is on Thursday, so the Vikings will have a few extra days to get ready for the Chargers. The Vikings could be one of your NFL Week 3 best bets when used in a teaser to push the spread to Minnesota +7.5.
Atlanta Falcons at Detroit Lions
Date & Time:
Odds: Detroit -5
Moneyline: Detroit -210
The Lions are the favorites to win the NFC Central and this is the type of game they need to come out and dominate the Falcons. Detroit is home for the second straight week and playing an inferior opponent in the Falcons. The Lions were 4-1 as a home favorite last NFL season. But the Falcons were 4-3 as an away underdog despite going 1-6 straight-up. The betting odds NFL Week 3 have Detroit priced a little bit low.
Buffalo Bills at Washington Commanders
Date & Time:
Odds: Buffalo -4.5
Moneyline: Buffalo -190
The Buffalo Bills take to the road to face the Commanders. Buffalo is coming off a home game with the Raiders and returns home the next week for a division showdown with the Miami Dolphins. This is the type of game that can give teams trouble. The Commanders are a scrappy team and usually put up a good fight. Washington was 3-1 against the spread as a home underdog last year. If the Week 3 NFL point spreads hold on this game, the Commanders +10.5 wouldn’t be a bad teaser play.
Tennessee Titans at Cleveland Browns
Date & Time:
Odds: Cleveland -4.5
Moneyline: Cleveland -195
The Browns return home after a short week due to playing in the Monday night game at Pittsburgh in Week 2. Cleveland might be getting a little too much respect here, laying 4.5 points to an average Tennessee team. Instead of rebuilding, the Titans are making one last push with their veterans. That may not be the smartest move, but it should keep them in some games. The Titans +4.5 aren’t a bad choice for one of your NFL Week 3 betting picks.
Indianapolis Colts at Baltimore Ravens
Date & Time:
Odds: Baltimore -7
Moneyline: Baltimore -325
The two NFL teams will always be linked to one another, as Indianapolis began as the Baltimore Colts. Right now, Ravens fans will tell you they got the best of the deal. It’s hard to argue with them, as the NFL power rankings have the Ravens nearly a touchdown better than the Colts.
But Baltimore is coming off a tough game with Cincinnati and might have trouble getting up for a team it should beat with relative ease. The Ravens failed to cover either game last year as a home favorite of at least seven points. Baltimore will be a popular NFL Week 3 survivor play.
New England Patriots at New York Jets
Date & Time:
Odds: New York -4.5
Moneyline: New York -195
The Jets return home after playing in Dallas to face division foe New England. The Patriots aren’t getting much attention this season, which is how Bill Belichick likes it to be. New England hosted Miami in the Sunday night game the previous week. The Jets could be a little overpriced early due to Aaron Rodgers playing quarterback. The NFL Week 3 spreads have this game a little bit on the high side.
Denver Broncos at Miami Dolphins
Date & Time:
Odds: Miami -3.5
Moneyline: Miami -175
The Miami Dolphins are favored by 3.5 points over Denver in a division sandwich game. The Dolphins just played New England and visit Buffalo the following week. This could be a trap game for the home team, which is one reason the line seems a shade light in this spot. The NFL Week 3 betting trends show that since 2000, Week 3 favorites of 3.5 points or less are just 67-98-4 (40.8%) against the point spread.
New Orleans Saints at Green Bay Packers
Date & Time:
Odds: Green Bay -1
Moneyline: Green Bay -115
This would have been a must-watch game just a few seasons ago. Now, it’s one of the NFL Week 3 matchups that won’t get a whole lot of attention. The Saints play the previous week on Monday night, so New Orleans will be playing on a short week. The Packers don’t inspire a whole lot of confidence right now, although they may surprise. Green Bay has a relatively easy schedule to start out with. The Saints may be a slightly better team but it’s never easy to win on the road in Green Bay.
Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars
Date & Time:
Odds: Jacksonville -7
Moneyline: Jacksonville -300
If the Jaguars want to cement themselves as a playoff contender, these are the types of games they need to win big. Houston can’t match the Jaguars on either side of the ball, but it’s still up to Jacksonville to go out and execute and win the football game. This game is similar to Week 5 of the 2022 season when the Jaguars were 7-point favorites over Houston.
The Texans pulled off a 13-6 upset. Jacksonville can’t afford to see NFL scores like that in games it’s supposed to win. The Jags did make amends with a 31-3 victory at Texas later in the season. The NFL Week 3 point spread predictions like a second straight double-digit victory for the Jaguars here.
Carolina Panthers at Seattle Seahawks
Date & Time:
Odds: Seattle -4
Moneyline: Seattle -190
The Panthers make the long trip to the West Coast to face the Seahawks. Carolina is coming off a Monday night game with the Saints. The Seahawks return home after a game at Detroit. The Seahawks have lost a little bit of the home magic that carried the team for a number of years.
Seattle is 8-9 straight-up and against the spread at home the last two seasons. This is a bigger game for the Seahawks, but it’s not easy laying that many points with an inconsistent offense. The NFL Week 3 line on this game is pretty much where it should be. That makes it a tough game to wager on.
Chicago Bears at Kansas City Chiefs
Date & Time:
Odds: Kansas City -9.5
Moneyline: Kansas City -410
The Chiefs are the largest of the NFL Week 3 favorites and will no doubt be one of the popular survivor picks for the week. Kansas City could probably win this game by double-digits if they put forth a concentrated effort to do so. But will they?
Kansas City is coming off a game at Jacksonville and have Aaron Rodgers and the Jets up next. It wouldn’t be the first time the Chiefs have put it on cruise control against an opponent with a tougher game on deck. Taking Kansas City to win the game straight-up is a no-brainer. Taking the Chiefs and laying all the points is a little harder to do.
Dallas Cowboys at Arizona Cardinals
Date & Time:
Odds: Dallas -7
Moneyline: Dallas -305
The Cowboys visit the Cardinals and the NFL Week 3 weather is going to play a factor here. It will be hot. The average high temperature in Glendale, Arizona, is 90 degrees, which isn’t ideal football weather. Fortunately for Dallas, it gets pretty warm in Texas, as well. The heat may not affect the Cowboys as much as a cooler weather team. But the weather is about the only advantage the Cardinals have. Arizona isn’t a horrible large home underdog, so this one is tough to pull the trigger either way.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Las Vegas Raiders
Date & Time:
Odds: Pittsburgh -1.5
Moneyline: Pittsburgh -120
The Steelers are small road favorites in the late Sunday game. The Raiders were pretty bad last season, but it’s still hard to see Pittsburgh favored on the road in this spot. The Steelers are coming off a Monday night game with division rival Cleveland. Now the Steelers are asked to travel to the other end of the country and play a game in 90-degree weather. The Raiders are by no means a great football team, but don’t be surprised if the NFL Week 3 results show the Raiders coming out on top against the Steelers.
Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Date & Time:
Odds: Philadelphia -7
Moneyline: Philadelphia -325
The Tom Brady era is over in Tampa and the Buccaneers are going to take a step backwards no matter who ends up quarterbacking the team. Baker Mayfield seems to be a little above Kyle Trask right now and is the likely starter. The Eagles don’t have any quarterback concerns with Jalen Hurts behind center. Tampa Bay struggled last year with Brady, so it could be a long season for Buccaneers’ faithful this year. The Eagles are the superior team. It’s just a question if you want to make the Eagles one of your NFL Week 3 NFL picks and lay the touchdown.
Los Angeles Rams at Cincinnati Bengals
Date & Time:
Odds: Cincinnati -7.5
Moneyline: Cincinnati -345
The NFL Week 3 full schedule winds-up with the Los Angeles Rams facing the Cincinnati Bengals in a rematch of the 2021 Super Bowl. The Bengals are lofty 7.5-point favorites here. It’s hard to say how much the revenge factor will come into play for the Bengals.
This isn’t the same Rams team that came away with a 23-20 victory. But still, it has to be in the back of the Bengals’ minds. The Rams probably aren’t as bad as they looked last season, at least when healthy. Los Angeles could be a little undervalued early in the season. The Rams could be worth a shot as one of your NFL Week 3 picks vs spread.
